Great Melt Going On

The last one is how they come in after playing in that wet. I groomed everyone but you can hardly tell.

The above was before they went out. You don't want to know what they looked like after.

Keeping Levon, Trigger and Frannie clean before they departed was challenging is all I am going to say. They are free spirits that was running through the puddles before I bathed them. Hmm think Shannon says Trigger hates the puddles. Oh my gad I think he didn't realize they existed. They were having way too much fun to pay attention.

It's nice to see some ground but oh I have a feeling I will need a heavy duty blower for the yard. Where do you rent one of those? :-)

He's probably having too much fun to think about it! They're being really funny for me - they only want to go to the bathroom on the patches of snow that are left in the yard. lol. They're nice and fluffy and tired - thank you very much!

Can't believe the meltdown! Amazing to see the backyard without snow. Same here but still some snow, but lots of grass showing. Coop is like Trigger and Levon, looking for snow to do his business. Same every year, so funny how they are.

Shannon, that's funny. Bailey prefers to do his business on any bit of grass that has started showing and Bella will go where the snow is. I think it has to do with what they are use to. Bailey was trained in nice weather with beautiful green grass, and Bella has only seen snow. I love watching them search for their perfect spot. Bella's seems to get closer to the property line every day, if she crosses it, I'm not sure how the neighbours or their dogs next door may feel about her deposits. We currently have invincible fence, but I see a fence going up this summer. Wish I had done it last year instead of paying $1000 training Bailey. Wasn't thinking of a second dog at the time, so didn't think it through. Oh well, live and learn.

We still have a significant amount in the back but if it would just get a tad warmer we would have more melt. Cali was bathed and 10 minutes later she had black feet then a black underside. I laughed. I don't like to have dogs with knots so I tend to groom more than most but I looked at her and shook my head and managed to wait till today to brush her out. I figured it was a senseless process. My scalliwag and boy is she like anyone who owns a Spice pup knows - fun, fun, fun.

Well, of to wash Maxine who came for a bath.
