The Faces Have It

Had some really happy, happy dogs today. Weather was coolish. We played a great deal. I groomed everyone and we played some more. Each night I say I am going to bed early and we are always late. It just takes that long to get it all done.

Nothing for Adele at the show today. I heard it was 40c there - ouch. She's not dealing with the heat all that well. An American big time pro won the show for the 3rd time. Phantom did win veterans!

Now on to the happy faces I captured today.

Give me your paw... we had fun as this one knows a ton of commands.

Thank you Truffie for being such a good boy despite Panda being in heat. You deserve an extra treat! I celebrate in 5 days - heats done!

Now who says dogs don't have expressive faces - havanese do!

When the dogs enjoy themselves, I do too and they certainly did today!

Thanks for posting the pix of Happy Havanese. I look forward to seeing them.
Congratulations to the Veteran Phantom. It sounds like this show has been difficult for Adele. Who needs to deal with 40 Celsius unless they are in a pool.

Adele is up against a handler in her class that has won the specialty 3 times. He just won the regional AND the national specialty.

Plus there is NO air conditioning in an open door building. Inside the building registered 42c.

Took some photos at the Regional today. I am just a beginner at this and got lots of fuzzy pictures, people's elbows and feet; deleted most of them. But if you want to take a look I have put them up of Flicker. Lucky we were inside for the first part and then when we went outside my camera acted up so I don't know if I will get any photos on Saturday. Maybe I will have to get Darlah to give me some lessons. It was very hot today and so I did not stay for the Toy Group Winners. Everyone was busy but I did introduce myself to Nathan. Should have bought tickets for the dinner so I could meet some more.

Marilyne: Glad you said hello to Nathan. I see too many too small dogs and I think Callie is too small. I also saw dogs scissored looking at those photos but many showing the way they are supposed to - bravo. Wish people really showed them natural as they are supposed to be. Were you just in for the day? How was the vendors? Hope everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Can't get late tickets for the banquet?
