Semi Up and Going
Think this photo says it all. Here is a gallery finally after my hard drive death. I am adjusting to the latest Office and Windows 10. I find it irritating and still have to adjust and learn but I have yet to have any serious time with it as Dennis is on it. After my blog, he is back on it.
But here is today's and yesterday's gallery combined. No chance to even look. It's just a cut and paste.
We had a really good day and tomorrow Helen, Suzie, Hugo and Milo are coming over and we will see how Inula does with stairs jumping with Hugo. Then come Tuesday it gets mighty quiet and I start seriously making an effort to gather a sander, sandpaper and find a stain and stain the doors.
Patches, Chewie, Riley and Tia came for the day. Reggie will depart shortly and then tomorrow gone. After a very stress-filled couple of days I look forward to the swimming company.
As we have Ash and Grey here the dogs have been exposed to the schnauzers. That's a bonus as they get along with everyone.
Kat was in rare form today playing his heart out with Inula. It was a riot. He's always in a good mood when no one is in heat. We welcome the reprieve although we know that is about to change anytime.
I will be updating the moms to be blogs.
It's good to be able to semi do things on the computer. Can't wait till its mine again. The issue I have when I don't do it myself but with what Dennis went through I may have blown a blood vessel. It has not been easy. Having a backup would be intelligent. I know. Oh well.

I love this picture. You need to save this one. So cute, it speaks volumes.
Is that Dusty I see in some of todays gallery ? Her face is quite similar to Kona's
face.
I am going to frame this one. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Wonderful photos again of everyone.
Agree, special picture! I love moments like these and wish someone was able to take pics for me when they happen ... Oh well, they'll just have to be snapshots in my memories.
Nathan and Patches - AMAZING!
What a photo!
Beautiful picture. I keep telling Sam to make sure everything is backed up. At work it is done automatically but at home we get too laid back. But you home is your work??? Anyway appears to be getting fixed. Love the gallery.
A picture is worth a thousand words!
Hi Darlah - great picture at the top and thank you for all the photos of Ziggy in the gallery - I see he's made himself at home and has remembered how much he likes that top step next to the pool;). Good luck with the computer and the heat/humidity. It's currently in the high teens and sunny/cloudy in London so somewhat better walking around weather! I hope you're all able (sort of) to just take it easy today:)
Yes, Dusty is here.
Christine:
Come visit and I will capture memories. :-)
Ellen: He loves it! He is having a great time. Oh my gad he's like a teddy bear and loves the snuggles and play. He always finds his spot on my lap watching tv.
Angela: If you need the full size let me know.
Yes please, Darlah, that way I can frame it to the size I want it. It isn't often, if ever, I get a pic like that. I will treasure it on my front hall wall, just as you come in my front door (I have the place already). It really captures both their love for each other plus the best part of my Patches, her personality. We love her so much, I can't tell you. Thanks again so much.
What a sweet picture !!!
Darlah: I used to do a weekly backup on a one-click type system and it worked really well even when I bought a new hard drive but the person who looks after the computer at my store made me buy an automatic backup system that is plugged in all the time so I don't have to do anything. He even put my computer set-up into this backup so if my system dies, he just has to plug the backup into a new hard drive and everything including setup will be there (in theory !!) So far haven't had to use it !
Maureen: Yes know what I could have had but appreciate the info. Actually am computer savvy, I have worked on computers and built my own. I was the first to upgrade an Atari ST. But lately I have relied on the son to do backups (its simply easier with what I have on my plate) and it seems sometimes in August he saw an error and then forgot about it. So I lost a lot of mail, my passwords etc. The ssd hard drive is dead and I can't recover. The other HD is recoverable but we also updated the OS, updated Office so sometimes its just better to bite the dust in this circumstance and start anew. The ssd is larger now, so is the other HD. I have windows 10 and the latest office. I lost roboform which had all my passwords. Long weekend means some companies won't respond but some have as they have automatic - forgot your password - send mail and update. Not all can and Roboform - well due to security once your password is gone its gone so now I will use LastPass. We also lost our entire jukebox for our tv/movies. So the son is rebuilding that. Being in the business for as long as I have been you would think I would never get caught but it wasn't me. It was the son. I still love him.
Angela - photo sent. Not sure if I had the right address. I seemed to have lost my contacts so slowly rebuilding or looking at Nathan's and sending it to my computer.
