Gazebo Day

Sorry - it's a no blog day. Everyone is having a blast including Patches and her packmate. hehe Rusty is having a blast. I have been grooming non stop. But now we have this window where I sit in the tv room and Tracy, her boyfriend, Nathan, Dennis and Jon all try to put a gazebo together. I hold down the fort with the dogs. So - no time as everyone is here and well we will see if it gets done. This blog will not. I have my limits. hahahaha

It's just one of those days!

Oh and Tracy's boyfriend has his shepherd here.

Till tomorrow! sTAY TUNED TO SEE IF IT ACTUALLY HAS ALL ITS PART AND IF IT GETS COMPLETED. heh

Patches and Radar had a wonderful time, I can really tell. They are fast asleep and I swear they are smiling! Thanks so much to the family I trust totally to care for our babes. It is truly wonderful to have you there for us.

What time are you picking up Rusty tomorrow? Do you know?

Rusty is having a great time.

Patches and Radar was sitting in my lap tonight while I watched half of Jungle Book.

Don't talk gazebo to me. It's a piece of junk - oh well. It's still in pieces on the deck. It's my fault, don't you know. Though it says on the box hard top and its bloody corrugated panels.

Gin and tonic night. Bed - please!

The shepherd didn't get along with any of the dogs but Kat tolerated her but Kat is not a submissive. If they were moving in together today, Adele and River would be staying here. Let's see if time will help and exposure.

I will have to assess further. Inula also was not receptive.

We used to have german shepherds. They are usually guarded, territorial and do not usually get along with small dogs but he says his does and plays with small dogs at Petsmart at day boarding. It is a mix.

Oh well, it was a day. Not one I want to repeat. I have also had a terrible 3 days of grooming. It's been non stop. I need a break. Just one day.

Yeah yesterday I had a barker when Shannon came and they refused to stop barking. So I was telling them to knock it off like a maniac. I know better. They did not listen till I took a breath and said guys - knock it off in an authoritative voice. You yell they only hear bark, bark, bark. I know better.

Dear old Levon and Trigger - not a bark. They are good dogs. A visitor (won't name names) starts them off and if Nathan leaves the room (he's gone for the next few days most of the day) then this dog barks for him and only him nonstop and I am creative trying to distract. It only works for fleeting moments.

I was sort of getting blamed for the gazebo. I should know a deal is not a deal. heh The things I get blamed for.

I had a very full day of grooming - day 3 of insanity. Yes, even Sunday was like that.

I watched the rest of Jungle Book and Levon, Trigger, Rusty, Roxie and Leti was laying all over me and although it was crowded and Levon got up a few times to block my view as he wanted to make more room. Who could blame him, I was in heaven.

One has to have those experiences when you are on overload.

Ruth when she came and got Katie I think I said I was having the day of hell and she said but that's your day always. No, not quite like these last 3 days.

Today Nathan is gone shortly. It's me and all the dogs till Dennis gets up and Tracy gets home.

Tomorrow Judy comes and I am so going into that pool.

Riser departs tonight. Rusty departs today after bath and haircut.

Daisy thinks she is in heaven - quite purely.

Think tomorrow I am going to send Tracy to get some Buffalo Fajitas from Lonestar and between the pool and food I will reward myself royally. hahahahaha

Oh yes and I so feel bad for Nathan having to work the show but really it gets him social and outdoors for a change of scene. It's worth the work, imho. My rant for the day....

Assembling anything as large as the Gazebo is a challenge. One that I could skip.

Sounds like it was a very hectic day. Sounds like all the dogs enjoyed themselves.

Was Cooper visiting yesterday??? I thought you said someone was barking LOL! Just kidding of course.

August 23, 2016 | Unregistered CommenterAnne and Cooper

Hahahaha re: Cooper. Cooper just barks in excitement then stops. Nathan was gone and guess what this dog did not bark. I think a miracle happened today. Don't get me wrong. I love this dog to bits. Hoping tomorrow is the same.
