Lexi Departs

We will miss the Lexi, Gal. She is a love who plays like silly.

Here is the gallery.

Velvet and Mabel departs in an hour. Life is getting quieter.

We are off to Ottawa again tomorrow. We will return at night. Will we have a gallery or will we not? It depends on if its dry outside and Dennis feels inclined.

The next day that I return I play catchup and do all the dogs I juggled as we were going to be away.

Today was wet outside and dogs going home could not go out or the water would wick up them. I know as I already did a round of drying and combing out. Only one safe somewhat is Charlie as she doesn't have any hair per se.

Good news - I think everyone is done their heats - hooray!

Someone is also stealing a sock at night from my feet while I sleep and chewing it up placing holes in them. I am now down to 2 pairs of socks. Think the next I buy will all be black with no designs. This way the odd sock that doesn't have a match will have one. Does that make sense? I am so tired at night that I don't know who is doing it and maybe they count on that!

So funny that you can't find the sock thief.

Hey Darlah!
Marks' Work Wearhouse has these great copper based socks (whatever that's supposed to mean) with no seam on the toes. They have the exact same design on each foot so you can mix and match when one dies. They are really comfortable too! Good quality and I got the package of 5 for $19.00. Not bad price because they last as long as we keep them out of the sock monsters mouths. LOL

Wow that is a good price. Rusty loves socks. Luckily he wasn't sleeping with Darlah.

Have a safe trip Darlah and keep warm.

Love those faces. Nothing like Havanese eyes.

most of my socks are the same. I set aside the odd one out, until there is another one to match it with. The socks with holes are repurposed as dog toys - I first make sure they are no longer identifiable as the "good" socks by putting things in them and tying knots in them.

That's too funny !! Remember Darlah it is the style these days to wear mismatched socks so you don't have to throw out those odd ones !! In my house the thieves are the cats and since they can get up on things, nothing is safe ! Then what they knock on the floor, the dogs can destroy ! Can't win, they'll outsmart us every time !
