Very Long Day
Sorry - long day. We were visiting Dad. It's a long drive every 5 days or so. Our daughter is coming in from North Carolina on the 8th. It is the soonest she can come. We hope in time. When she comes in, I will not be doing grooming. Dennis will be here so the rest visitors, overnight or day is more than fine. Just a heads up - no grooming from 8th till the 12th.
Here is the gallery Dennis took.
I am exhausted and feel its more emotional than physical or maybe it is both.
Dennis said the dogs were great. He had a ton of fun with him despite them barking when he had to go to the door. They were over the top happy to see us. I got hugs, kisses and wriggling bodies. It makes one feel good.
I need to spend time with the dogs so not much else to say. Though I did brush Truffie when I returned home as he couldn't see. Dennis is amazing but a groomer he is not. LOL We all have our strengths.
I need to try to get water pots emptied and in tomorrow but I have a full day of grooming. We shall see how super human I can become.
Dani's Surgery is set for November 2nd.

Glad you are home safe and sound.
Darlah I know you are all on a roller coaster and it is exhausting. I wish I could help. I am sure you will enjoy your daughter's visit. I am sending good vibes to Dani and pray that her surgery goes well. she is young and brave. My heart goes out to her.
Glad you made it out of the 401 parking lot.
Wishing Dani an uneventful and successful surgery.
Ronnie:
The daughter is coming home to say goodbye to her grandfather. I am happy to see her but wish it was under different circumstances.
Hoping Dani's surgery goes well. They warned her due to not using her rectum - sorry so graphic that it may be unusable and then she will be on a bag permanently. They are going to attempt to stretch the area and hope in time it will stretch to normalcy with use. It appears it has shrunken almost closed. Strange... She will be out of school for a few months, it seems doing school work from home. We are hopeful it will work. She is afraid and almost said no to the surgery but it was explained this is her last chance. So, she tries.
Will pray that Dani's surgery goes well. Sending warm thoughts to Nathan, you and family. Glad your daughter is coming over. Sometimes, the hardest part about someone dying is the waiting when you know it is inevitable. It was for me when my mom passed away. I totally know how you are all feeling. I know it sounds "cliche" but when the end comes, it usually is a relief. In the meantime, you visit and make memories. Hugs!
Thoughts and prayers for you and your family. So much happening all at once. Wishing Dani's surgery goes well.
Who is the little dark haired pup that always seems to want to be up high either on the diving board or a chair. She enjoys looking down on all the others gathered beneath her.
Ali is the black dog. :-) She is actually a tri but more black.
Thanks for identifying Ali. So many faces to keep track of on your blogs. Ali seems like she has a very playful personality.
Yes, we always seem to have visitors and that's quite nice! Ali is a gal with fun personality - a bit too much for someone who likes a quieter dog like Sky. Ali is a lot like Spicy was as a puppy but as we know Spicy calmed down too. :-)
