Heated Day Out

Magic was over for a bath, trim etc. It was rather hot today. Leti is in heat. Stone, Kat etc going crazy - joy.

No one wants to go swimming but Ella and Roxie did and so did Raven - and everyone else including Kat - said nah. I think we need to start taking one at a time in.

Here is today's gallery.

I did plants all my beans. We put up two birdbaths - the ones we already had. Another waterpot is done and our furniture is out.

Our van needs to go into the shop but Nathan insists we go to the vets in it stuck in gear. I guess its side streets and then he will drop off teh van and rent a car, I suppose. Always something.

I am making progress but I doubt I will get everything done before pups arrive. But I am making a dent.

Sage has been miserable. I think she was really attached to Mabel but each day she is getting better. I think the extra week is deadly for the pups. It's simply easier when they go right after each other. The extra week they bond so. Sage is busy forging relationships with the older dogs and Saffron is taking care of her.

Stay tuned tomorrow for xrays. I keep thinking Cinnamon is huge and she is but maybe its just because I am comparing her to Ella.

Everyone truly is having a blast!

Till tomorrow.

Magic is... magical groomed! She is so beautiful. Can't wait to see the girls x-rays.

What a gorgeous picture. You guys could have your own reality show on tv. I am serious.

Carmen: How is Felix settling in with Ines?

Magic has a great coat.

Darlah, do you use comb guides on your Bravura when you clip a shorter look?

Su:

Yes, I use combs but I mostly scissor cut. If I need to do a quick job, I will go slightly longer with combs and use scissors to finish. If you are going super short use the smallest guide comb. But if new, go longer and keep going shorter till you get the length you want. Use a brush to brush up and clip, then brush up and clip or use the dryer. :-) You can also shake the coat by taking a pinch of skin and shaking back and forth.
