Happy October

Elvis was just bathed and is not allowed outside as it is POURING. He is heading home tonight and what a cutie he is!

We had a WONDERFUL hot day till about 4pm and then thew rain came. It's still warm outdoors but mighty wet. Good thing we got our big pot in as saturated it is impossible to move. It's a really big planter. Now it is inside.

Some dogs went swimming. Most wanted just to soak in the warmth. We will now order a pool closing. It is our last day of swim and I got a burn and that's okay. LOL

Here is the gallery.

Our repro vet thinks we are having pups across the board earlier than I think. Time will tell. We need to change the xray dates. LOl That is in my calendar tomorrow.

Looks like I am in fast drive to get everything done. What is new? Pool house will have to be done after pups come. That means I am not responsible for it. I will be puppy busy. It also looks like I need to finish my staining of baseboards.

After I finish here, I have to empty a bookcase of all old fantasy books of Nathan's. He is having a hard time just throwing them out. Decluttering is painful, at times.

I have to hang a curtain in the next couple of days but I think the curtain I bought is too long. Go figure. I may Velcro the hem as that is the only size they had - too long or too short.

Soon the land of no sleep.

Dogs are truly enjoying this weather. Maybe it is due to us enjoying. Going to miss the pool. Till next April. LOL

I can hem the curtains for you, by machine or by hand if you like, I've done that many times. I can even bring my portable sewing machine up to do the job, most likely it will be so fast and easy to do, it's only a straight line, lol! Email me if you wish.

Dorothy:

Thank you! I have yet to even put up the rod. LOL Invisible hem may work too. It's behind the tv so it may work fine. We shall see. Did finish the puppy room upstairs but figuring I do not need that room for 5 plus weeks and only at night - so what! Have all my whelping stuff ready but need alcohol and a new thermometer and other than setting up a whelping box and xpen, I think we are in shape that way too. Tomorrow I build pig rails to see how they fit in the whelping box. I need to stain. The car got fixed again. argh Friday Home Show.

My curtains are too long for my windows in the dining room, my niece came to visit and arranged them without hemming and they look great. She said it is quite fashionable to have them draped this way. Plus tie backs lift them too.

You certainly have been busy, glad it’s coming together.

Love the swishing tail of Cinnamon, what a very happy sounding girl.

Sue...was thinking...will report today. It's on my to do list to hang curtains among many other things.

Cinnamon is an exceedingly happy gal. Her pups are too. Kissy kissy happy happy. Never see her not happy except when sick such as morning sickness.

I’m really looking forward to seeing the pups.
I wonder how many!
We never bred our Cal as I wouldn’t have been able to let the pups go.
LoL can you imagine keeping every litter!!!

Sue: I used to feel that way until I saw how happy you make others. I also gained quite a few wonderful dog friends by learning to share. Just teasing but it is a process.
