News & More

Looks like on May 22nd Corey will be going to live with Chicklet. It's my sister-in-law and brother-in-law's home. We have bonded madly so this is hard. Everyone especially Saffron, Misty and Stormy will miss him. We can't keep boys but we thought about it with him. Nathan has deeply fallen. I tried hard not to as I knew this day would come especially with all his tests coming back healthy. They spent time with him when we watched Chicklet and fell in love with him. So, they kept at us and he will depart and live in Ottawa.

Here is today's gallery.

Raven is such a great dog. Her hair is starting to come back in. I can't wait till she is swimming.

Dogs had a blast today. They played and played despite it being cool. Perhaps it was better as it was cool.

Now everyone is hanging out in the tv room and I am about to as well. :-0

Nice that Corey is going to a home that you know well and will have a buddy to play with. Twice the fun, twice the love I always say 😍 Now that we have two, I can’t imagine life with just one πŸ˜‰

I agree Anne, it is wonderful having two Havanese. They love each other so much and play all the time. Besides, twice the love for us. Enjoy your new home, Corey! Raven so reminds me of Jeannie. Beautiful!

I agree, Angela. I find Raven to be a real beauty and those eyes...

I know it is hard but at least he will still be in the family and you know he will have a good life.

I am so glad Corey is doing well and will have a good home. Wish I could convince Ken that two is better than one.

Marilyne:

I do believe things happen for a reason. Not sure what this one is yet. This is a first. Wouldn't do it any other way. But the inlaws fell in love with him. They wanted him no matter what.

We had people over and he sat in the child's lap. He has changed a lot. He is now just turning 5lb. He is a thinker. He wins with his brains not with brawn. He's very smart. He is not as busy as Misty nor as brainless. Misty tries things that she shouldn't be at her age. She jumps long and tall and wide and never misses. But Corey runs upstairs and downstairs without issue. He now jumps up on the couch outside. He watches how Misty does it and then he tries but now with confidence. He's become quite the guy, as I knew he would. I will miss him and I have bonded but Nathan has bonded deeply. Issue is he will be in Ottawa and we do not get into Ottawa much. Every now and then though they go on holidays and they bring Chiclet here so they will bring Corey here.

I will adjust. Misty will and Saffron will too. I suspect Saffron will worry Misty will go too.

Someone asked if we would sell her to them. She is here to stay. I can't imagine both going. Now that would be totally sad. I really really love these litters.
