Who is Next?

We have been feeding outside just for a change. The air is so nice and when it is not raining, why not?

Here is the gallery.

Jeannie has terminal bed head and as soon as I fix it, she ruins it. She's so funny. She pushes herself through the gate to make sure she gets to stay with me in the office. She is very pushy about it. LOL

I need to cut liners for my cabinets so I can put my product back. I hate our step stool. I have to find a sturdy one that doesn't take up too much space. The one we have sways. Yes - really it sways. I think it needs to go in the trash and I can't see any way of tightening it up. I think its just breaking. You see I must stand on it to cut the liners.

I had a bunch to groom today and tomorrow. It rained while I was grooming, I was told.

Charlie departs tomorrow and Tenshi, Radar and patches arrive for overnight. Harlow came running in to claim her fave spots. LOL She does that the first day like a game. the others don't mind.

Misty is in class tonight. We forgot about it and I was in the pool when Ruth and Willow showed up so off Nathan went with his wallet and phone left at the front door. Got to love it and I bet he doesn't even realize it. Next week I will go. I didn't want to race around with my head cut off drying and getting dressed as they were already going to be late otherwise. I will have to hear the stories when he arrives home.

That's it for tonight. I look forward to watching tv and relaxing with the dogs.

I planted some bean seeds - I know late but gave up finding. They will either grow or not. Time will tell.

Oh and I have been starting to put herbs in my regular pots vs just the trug. It is working out well.

Al fresco dining is the best, good for you! Unless it’s raining, we feed our pooches outside every night, but morning breakfast is inside for all of us πŸ˜‹

How lovely is that. I may try feeding Rusty out doors. Of course it's going to rain. DARLAH YOU MAKE ME WANT TO GROW HERBS. I BUY THEM BUT CANT USE ALL I BUY AT ONE TIME. PICKING WHAT YOU NEED WOULD WORK BETTER. (Sorry didn't realize my caps were stuck). Too lazy to rewrite.

Ronnie: You can dry them for future use.

Darlah, we tried beans for 1st time this summer. Time will tell how they do . . . Cukes weren't doing well over the past 2 yrs so thought this would be a nice change. Also growing leaf lettuce & doing really well. Like herbs, I just keep trimming the outer leaves. .My herbs always do well & like you didn't find cilantro this year. I luv it too! I did find my lemon thyme which I luv along w/ reg thyme. Basil - 2 plants as make lots of pesto. Also Thai Basil which I find interesting, chive, parsley & rosemary. They claim rosemary is an anti-cancer and when used when grilling takes away the carcinogens. Bonus!!!
The strawberry plant I put in last summer (and produced 1 strawberry) is full of blooms. Lots of berries started. And, I didn't do a thing to winterize it. Also, it looks like it's doubled & split into 2 plants - bonus! πŸ“πŸ“
Laci has been enjoying the recent summery weather. Luv that she's happy laying on the lounge (and by herself @ times which none of my others would do) on the look- out for unwelcome visitors. πŸΏπŸ‡πŸ¦
Glad you're enjoying your summer off Darlah . . .well except sounds like a lot of grooming & visitors! πŸ•
Laci sends hugs! 🐾

Your herbs sounds wonderful. I find I spend a lot of time spinning my lettuce after washing. LOL My cucumbers are growing well but not as much flavour. Have to try English next time. Your strawberries - bonus - wonderful! Green and yellow beans grow well but pick them as soon as they are ripe or they will shrivel. Rosemary I have way too many places in my harden, I started putting herbs into pots that have other plants. Will see how they do. My tomatoes are yum - wonderful. Still waiting for my green peppers. Should have grown yellows and reds - next year.

Sounds like Laci is enjoying herself. Rather nice and today not too hot! Give her a kiss from us!

Yes Darlah, I agree as I rinsed my lettuce in spinner for longest time. Then filledl the bowl and let it soak. Rinsed again and spun and placed in fridge. Last night took some out for a salad and surprised to see sand. (Good thing I had my glasses on.). πŸ€”Anyway
Thx for tip 're beans as a newbie @ that!
How do you get such early tomatoes? I won't have any till Aug. Do you start inside?
I also have spearmint from last yr. TONS!!! I swore I would never do mint again due to overgrowth & spread and should have realized . . . Apparent it's good for skin and collagen production, but has to be the spearmint. I best start using it! πŸ˜€
Glad you're enjoying your garden! πŸŒ±πŸ…

Debi: Don't you love aggressive plants. On my salad, I wash each leaf, place it on paper towels and let it air dry then spin it. Nathan complains that I have it all over the place. He's not a huge salad person. I can't wait till my radishes are harvested.
