Hot Today

This is Murphy and Fitz hanging out.

No one went swimming today. We had a lot of humidity so the dogs really, really appreciated the indoor air. I am feeling bad for anyone without air. I hope humans and dogs are all in good shape.

Remy is visiting and he is Saffron and Murphy's great, great uncle. It is wonderful to have him here and he is still playful.

Here is a small gallery.

We also have Benny here. The older generation rules are here and the younger generation is playing up a storm. The older ones don't mind all the play either. How nice!

Years ago I did step aerobics and really screwed up my knee. Today is a bad day where I am hardly able to walk on it. It's hell getting older. Ice packs, tylenol 1s and a leg brace that doesn't quite fit. Here's to the next day when I hope it magically goes away. I say this as some of us are getting older - dogs and humans and arthritis sucks. But there are worse things.

Here's to a wonderful long weekend for all. Lots of brushing this weekend and it seems it is just me. But better than dealing with knots later on, I say.

Ollie and his canine mom have been playing quite a lot. It's nice to watch!

Ronnie:
My issue is hands, arms, and knee... today I am hardly walking on this knee and oh boy walking upstairs is not fun and then walking down. It used to just be walking down. Age... is a terrible thing. How do you manage yours especially with all you have on your plate?

My arthritis , particularly in my knee is terrible on days like this! Almost unbearable to walk, I have it other places as well but the knees the worst. Yes, getting old is frustrating but the alternative is terrible, yes, you r right. There are wise things...for sure!
Feel better and happy Canada Day to you and Nathan and all the pups!

We empathasize. Arthritis sucks. But we love seeing Fitz on this page. It looks like he is continuing to progress.

The dog on the left in the first photo reminds me so much of my Katie.😢. I love the cut on that dog. It is not long but not really short. What would I call it at a groomer's? Poppy is not enjoying the hot Winnipeg weather today. She does like the air conditioned house. She really has the right name as she pops up at us whenever she wants attention. She has learned to pop up on most of the furniture and this week managed to make it up on the bed. She is a real joy. This week we hope to get out to Grand Beach and I am looking forward to seeing her reaction to the water.

It's a long puppy cut. There are more photos in the gallery today. Just take a photo in with you.

Oh take photos. Love to see her!
