Too Steamy

Here is the gallery.

Willow and Mabel was playing silly. Charlie was also playing and playing but they did enjoy inside more than outside today. We had a feel like 102f - 39c. Thank gad for air and those without - poor things - truly!

We do have a grooming table, a nail grinder, 2 clippers. Have to go through it. Just been way busy.

Got a burn and hives from being out in the sun for 20 lousy minutes. Took Benedryl and now I want to sleep but the itchiness subsided.

Did a bunch of dogs. Still have 1 to do so another short blog again.

Found out from the electrician you can't have a plug near the pool. We have 4. He comes back maybe Thursday. He just dropped in to get an idea what to have on hand. He also wanted to confirm we were not nuts and it was simly a breaker. Unfortunately we are not nut. LOL

Hope you are managing in this heat. If you need anything, let us know.

I have to admit that even I turned on the air yesterday.. not even comfortable in the pool until later in the afternoon when its in partial shade.
What’s “too close” to the pool re the outlets?

I guess it is a law not to have plugs 11 feet or closer to the pool. I have plus all along the pool area. Who knew and none have GFI

Darlah, found this at Home Depot Canada site, not sure if it will work in the sink. It does resemble the grooming bath mat they used to sell here.
I’ve asked if I can have a sample of the dri dek tile Christie’s direct sell for the their baths. They say the lugs can be cut off but don’t mention cutting. One of the reviews said hair caught around it so wasn’t happy with the tiles.

I will keep you posted unless you have found something you can use.

I found 2 other mats for the laundry sinks
https://www.canadamats.ca/interlocking-pvc-tiles.html
http://duragrid.com/kennel.html, I think this is similar to the dri dek tile?
Both look nice, one is from b.c., other one is from usa, need to phone for international orders.
I was hoping to checkout the ones at Home Depot, maybe later today.

I put low voltage lighting close to the pool and then there is also the pond pumps but make sure that all my outside outlets are GFI, including the ones in the shed. Good thing re the electrical in the shed because the o-ring on the chlorinator already went and there was 3” of water on the floor.

Christine, we have plugs everywhere through the backyard. Some are too close to the pool, I am told. way back when, I wanted the ability to plug in my laptop when i was working. I now use the plugs to charge the ipad etc. We have landscape lights and those are okay. The issue is the plugs. Plus we also seem to have a break in our pool light line.
