Havanese Smiles

Charlie (She's a girl)Not all havanese smile so obviously but some there are no mistaking.

Today was supposed to be warm but those clouds kept coming. I did go in the pool and had a heater outside to warm up while I sat in towels wet.

Here is the gallery.

Tomorrow Ali and Hugo come. We are excited. It will be Ali's first visit back after she went to her new home.

Nathan went to the laundromat to dry some clothes. He said there were 16 people there when he arrived and then only 6 just before he departed plus a drunk guy that was screaming about his quearters getting eaten up by the machine. He must have been pretty drunk as Nathan said he was bouncing into everything and almost falling over. This is how some people spend their time once every week or two. Not fun. We hope our dryer gets fixed soon.

We are still working in the front room. We are trying to figure out arrangements. It also needs to be painted. Wednesday I may start the bench if I can find the sander. LOL

The girls are acting pregnant.

I do believe the dogs are enjoying the overcast weather. Our daughter is worried that the hurricane will hit North Carolina. Last year she was stuck with dogs left with her that was supposed to be groomed but the people didn't come back for them till after the storm left. Can you imagine that?

Dogs are getting new toys put out daily and playing tug and squeak and all the fun things toys bring. We tend to put out different ones each day and this excites them though Rosie's mom gave us a toy and they ALL want that one. That's always the way.

Hope all of you had a wonderful holiday weekend. Dennis tells me he needs my help to move furniture. Got to love it.

Praying your daughter stays safe during this hurricane, and hoping those dog parents do the right thing and retrieve their pets.
