Cold Day and Issues

Sunday's blog seems to have disappeared and I haven't a clue what I said. I put in a ticket to see if they can recover but know I really did one. They are working on it. LOL Maybe what I said wasn't important. Someone trying to tell me something?

Here is today's gallery.

It's a cold day.

We had Charlie and Dallas visit us for grooming and play. I also had a few others and got Ella done who already looks like a mess. I am playing catch-up with my own now that Cinnamon intense focus has passed.

Henley has arrived and immediately started playing her heart out. Everytime I think of her name I think of Don Henley.

Nathan had his usual nap. We are making the transition to reverse osmosis. It was installed days ago but you have to flush out the system a few times before usage. Not any different than distilled. It is cheaper than the bottle water we have been investing in with us and the dogs. But the cooler gave us cold water. If I can find glass bottles that someone will let us buy (Cedar Springs sells them only to customers) I would fill that and use our cooler. We are now using containers in the fridge. The cost of dog dishes alone is a hefty cost as we place out 10 dishes a day and change them out twice more a day. Yes, we are a bit nuts in making sure they have clean, cold water all day. We even have cooling bowls.

Looking forward to saving money.

Henley and Parker love the wee pups. The pups have perfected their skills so well that they can keep up with some of the older dogs. It is amazing. Mia thinks the little ones are gremlins descending on her. When you get older, you sometimes feel that way.

I’m sure you will love your reverse osmosis system. We’ve had ours for a very long time and love it. We keep a large glass container in the fridge, but I imagine yours would need to be huge.
The dogs will know the difference. Tia, and now Laci will sniff and snort when we are somewhere w/o filtered water.
Nothing better than quality water.

We always had bottled water so the dogs are used to good quality but we were spending a fortune. We have had bottled water going on 30 plus years. I can't imagine how much we spent over the years on water. We are hoping this helps us to save $$ and still maintain good tasting water. I would like a glass bottle to put on a cooler so we can maintain cold water without taking up fridge space. But I think I need to find someone who gets cedar springs water delivered so I can buy a couple of bottles from them. I find it irritating that no one sells them other than them.

I tried responding to your blog yesterday but it wouldn't accept my comments. I guess something was happening last night. Good blog as always. 😊

Ours paid for itself long ago - Happy to say. We got a water softener at the same time and the DO water filtration for the kitchen only. The only cost now is for a yearly check and change of the bladders. When we move, they will move the entire system free of charge. (Unless next move is to the retirement home -LOL).

Thank you, Ronnie. Yes - I put in a ticket as I started having missing blogs, unable to comment. Something was going south. Still missing blogs but it seems responding works now. Sorry for the trouble.

Debi: I am happy with ours. No more bottles to lug upstairs - bonus!
