Change is a Coming

Cinnamon was seen sitting outside and enjoying life. A change is a coming. Still 12 more days of puffers, 10 more days of antibiotics and 4 more days of prednisone with the idea that may be adjusted if this plan doesn't work.

Here is today's gallery.

Coco, Leti's chocolate is here playing for the day. She is having a blast. Leti is thoroughly delighted. Tempest jumped over Roxie while she was eating all to head out the door. I have placed up two videos of Nathan training Tempest and Halle. You can see them here. While Tempest was training the dogs kept barking to train too and get treats. LOL Sorry about that.

No grooming today for me. Nathan brushed Murphy. He will do Coco and I will play catch-up tomorrow.

Last night I had a freak accident. I had my handheld vacuum and I was bent over vacumming up hair after grooming. My hair got caught in the vacuum, wrapped around the motor and the only way I could get it out was to cut my hair. Today I have tenderness and a huge egg on my scalp. Now my vacuum doesn't work. I am not happy. I have contacted the company. Thry said it never happened before.

The year 2020 is steaming right through in a stampeding fashion. LOL

Cinnamon is getting better. Shout out to Russell and Anne who are sick with the flu. We hope you heal quickly.

Susan and Molly came to visit the other day and brought beautiful tulips and a poem book that will make you laugh. Thank you. I need laughs. We all do.

It’s nice to see Cinnamon outside. Glad she’s getting better.
Love the videos of Tempest and Halle training with Nathan!
I had to mute it because Dallas was going crazy.

I am sick at home with the flu and feeling miserable!
So happy to learn that Cinnamon is recovering! Darlah what a freaky accident with your hair getting sucked into the vacuum cleaner.
Take care

I am so sorry your hair got stuck in the vacuum, that is hard to believe for the handheld. 😥 Now, take the opportunity for a pixie. 😉 i am so glad Cinnamon is slowly getting better.

So very happy to hear Cinnamon is doing better, complete the full meds even if she feels better, don't want a relapse.
But you Darlah, what are we going to do with you? I think an ice pack to keep down the swelling to start.🤕

Oh Ruth: Is there anything we can do for you? Feel better...

Beautiful Cinnamon! It is so good to see her outside and enjoying the weather. We wish her all the dog health possible! Darlah, I am so sorry about your hair. It will take some time to grow it back. I hope it was a small chunk. As my husband tells me take care of yourself otherwise you can’t take care of anyone else. Please take care of yourself.

I'm so relieved to see that Cinnamon is improving. The poor girl sure has had a rough time of it. And Darlah........your hair and head!!!! Yikes! That's not good at all!

OMG!!!!! Darlah, what a horrible attack by your vacuum. I had no idea that could happen. I'm going to warn my family cause the girls all have long hair and those hand held super vacs. I hope it was a small amount and your head is OK.
I'm so happy to hear Cinnamon is getting better, the poor thing has been through so much. It's as hard as when a child is ill except you can't explain to them what's happening. Be well all you flu sufferers, it will pass. I'm just starting to feel better. I got it Newyears... Susan

I can feel the pull of your hair. How absolutely awful and you must have been scared! Why does all manufacturers or food places always say "never happened before". Don't believe it. Darlah take a picture of your bump and hair and write a letter!!!

Absolutely love the picture with Tenshi. You have magic in your pictures. Sam always said it is the photographer not the camera that takes the great pictures and you definitely have that special talent. 😄
Ann I hope the flu passes fast and you and Russell feel better real soon.

I forgot to say how happy I am that cinnamon is on the mend. When they are sick so are we sick with worry. Beautiful picture of darling Cinnamon

I sent them photos. I have never, ever complained about an appliance before to a company. I did this time as I want a working unit and I hope they fix it so it does not happen to anyone else. I can't believe it still is very tender to the touch even when I lay my head on a pillow. Crazy accident.

January 15, 2020 | Registered CommenterDarlah

Well, it helps that Tenshi is so photogenic. She does the darndest things as they say!
