Windows Open

It rained this morning and then it got up to 19c. Can you believe?

Here is the gallery.

Today Elvis' mom sent treats over for him and his pals. I think Elvis said MORE DUCK please! Thank you!

I went to buy food and our local Global was limiting you to 1 large bag. Not sure what is going on but dog food is essential.

I brushed and combed everyone out but you can hardly tell but that's okay.

We are getting an exchange of air in our house with all the windows open. Soon it will drop and we will have to close them but nothing like open windows on a breezy warm day. My mother used to do this even in winter but I wait till it is relatively warm. The dogs love the breeze coming through the house too.

I just got an email from our pool company. They were telling us a sanitized pool is safe - according to teh WHO. Are you getting more emails than normal selling anything and everything?

Well tomorrow is only 8c and rain all day. It was great while it lasted!

Renspet is also limiting food purchases, check their website for details.
People are buying extra in case of production and delivery delays, I suspect.

Do you have what you need for your crew? Please let me know if you need me to pick up some extra bags of dog food for you. I live across the street from a Global.

For now we are good in the dog food department. We are even eating canned goods that have been sitting in the cabinet - soups etc. Yesterday before the bread and onion went bad, I made french onion soup. I never make my own. Bread is hard to come by here for some reason. I can't find flour either.

Interesting about Rens but they don't carry Fromms and they are no longer carrying benefect.

Deb - yes Roxie not combed out yet and Sage...

The flour went fast like the toilet paper, bread too, other things lots left ie cheese, yogurt, just have to creative in the cooking department. I'm not lacking.
Yup, Rens stopped carrying Fromms 1 year ago. Also Fromms has a notice on their website regarding unauthorized resellers?
Want your morning smile, Tom just placed a coffee filter over his nose and mouth, his idea.

Filter - that's funny

You can order Fromm's online from Wooftown.ca and they will deliver for free on orders over $39. I've also ordered plenty of times from Home Alive out of Alberta, if you can believe it, and they are amazing. My local pet store, Mipupico carries Fromms as well - I'm sure if you called them they could put an order together for you too.

Thank you, Michelle!

We seem to be struggling here in England too for dog food and our normal delivery people don’t have slots available. Our Vets are only seeing emergencies. And flour, well that’s hard to get here too although one of the big milling companies has been on tv showing tons of flour ready for distribution. There was as comment that they have a priority to hospitals etc. Baked beans are another item in short supply.

We are limited to one walk a day and social distancing or you can be fined. It’s hard for me to get out at the moment and a good neighbour has taken Calleigh for a walk for me. We are gloved up until they run out and I have sore hands from all the extra washing.
But, life is good with our Havanese who is teaching herself new tricks to get food. She was never food driven but now she wants to try everything. Keep safe everyone. Sue x

Sue Thoughts are with you.You have to be extra vigilant so I am glad someone is taking Calleigh for a walk. I am off to get rice and hopefully bread, flour something. We are very low on food. We are practising only going out to get food to 8-10 days. We shall see what the store offers. Have to go inside as their curbside is backed up for over a week.

Dorothy: I hot linked your link in case others want to click on it to see vs copy and pasting. I used to have a bread machine. Yeast and flour is hard to come by.
