Busy and Ooops Day

Dear Darlah, Nathan and all of Talemaker family,
Wishing you a happy Passover and happy Easter long weekend. Stay safe, stay healthy and stay happy. Tenshi puts on her bunny suit for this special day to say: it is Springtime and let’s rejoice!
Sylvia, William and bunny Tenshi

Now isn't she adorable? Happy Passover and Easter to all that celebrate!

Ella is found on this table and usually on the 2 arms of the chairs every time it gets warm enough to enjoy the weather. That was today.

We had a virtual meeting with 2 families. I blew zoom as we couldn't get audio working. We ended up Facetiming and let's say we are out of practice but it worked. Tomorrow's meeting will go smoother, I hope.

Here is the gallery.

Murphy and Jesse have departed. I miss them already. But Momma is happy, I am sure.

Dogs have been doing the run game today. Dennis did find the treat game and Elvis found every single one till finally said - enough and held him in place - no lie and she's heavy being pregnant. Elvis just looked at her as if to say - really?

I just love the dogs as they are downright fun and funny!

Hope in this Covid state of affairs you are making the best of it. Learn something new. Get distracted with the dogs. Tell me what you are watching - day 4 of no tv here. Maybe it will inspire me to put it on again. We shall see.

Tenshi looks adorable. I gave Abby and Zoey an Easter bath in the kitchen sink. It actually went well. They looked fluffy and cute but before I could get a photo they were rolling in leaves all over the back deck together.
Oh well at least they smell nice now.
Darlah ,we had the same no sound issue with Zoom.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you on this holy weekend no matter what or how you celebrate.
I think we are losing it, we watched HOP, an Easter Bunny kids movie that actually made us smile. A great relief from all the sadness.
All the best to everyone, Susan,Manny, Zoey and Abby

Susan: hahahahaha rolling - well mine would do that too! Re: Zoom - I am glad I am not the only one. Will have to search to see what it was but for now I pick the easiest. No time to invest in troubleshooting.

In my day, I learned Cobol and helped build GEnie, then did many a conference with many famous people and here something that is easy for all of you didn't come off like it should have. I feel stupid and technically challenged and that is rare.

Yes, I am finding Facebook and news to be downright depressive so I look for balance. In today's star newspaper from cover to back was covid. If it is like that tomorrow, I am saving myself money and cancelling and telling them why. There is such a thing as overload and I thank whomever for having the dogs in my life - then puppies. It almost feels like guilty pleasure. :-)

Is it just me? Tenshi looks happy to be in her bunny suit and posing. Such a cutie.

We did Zoom at 11am with 11 calling in, no problem with audio. To get around the 39,40 min cutoff, escape the active window and reenter the session so we went longer but not much longer, it was lunch and kids were hungry. And I finally saw my nephew's baby, 3 months old, and already smiling and sleeping most nights, good girl! Then skyped to Tom's daughter family in n.s. , her 1yr boy is a go getter, a mover!
Still cooking lots, apple pie today, and then gave it mostly away to family as front door gifts. Doggies got some of that turkey from today.
Found another groomers YouTube video blog, lots of new information again.
I'll bath both of mine on Tuesday since Monday is cleaning day at dad's.
I do like watching British drama on TVO, PBS, well written scripts, with some character development please.
Have to think what to start for the veg garden, maybe simple stuff only.
And I do love that bunny costume, look at Tenshi smiling!

Thank you Tenshi and family. So cute! Needed that! ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ

Remember to 'connect with audio' button, it's just below the screen where everyone is visible.

Dorothy: We tried that and still had NO AUDIO. We have another tomorrow but we are using facetime. :-)

Sounds like you have been mega busy!!

Tenshi's is gorgeous and so nice to see for Easter. DARLAH I COULD NOT GET AUDIO ON MY COMPUTER AND EVEN OUR TECHY CAME ON MY COMPUTER AND COULDNT MANAGE IT (Whoops the caps button was on - never can get it to stay on when I want too) anyway it was for a call in my office and the only place I could get sound was on my iPhone. I pressed the link and picture and audio was there so I have been using my iPhone for all my zoom calls. Worth a try.

Thank you, Ronnie. Everyone is making me feel like a blooming idiot. It's nice not to be alone and I am TECH savvy. It's what I did for a living. I am rather rusty now but still I keep up and continue to learn. I do have audio from my laptop but who can carry that around? Today we will try facetime but only inside - no running crazy as it is raining. Too bad. The dogs are in their glory when running.

Tomorrow the pool gets opened. Lots of time to get it in shape. Glad we are opening early. Glad it was paid for last year as a close/open package. Silver linings...

Let me know if you want to test the zoom again. I can be your guinea pig.

Thank you Sylvia! So where did you get your for for Easter? It looked great!

April 13, 2020 | Registered CommenterDarlah

Itโ€™s a Easter brunch take out menu in Unionville called NextDoor restaurant. It was meant to feed four people but I was like โ€œwhat the heckโ€ itโ€™s easter, so we get to do brunch 2 days in a row! It has 1 duck leg confit, 2 lamb sausage, halloumi cheese, big pile of vegetable scramble eggs, roasted Brussels sprouts, fried tomatoes, mushrooms, pepper with roasted potato, avocado spread, grilled sourdough bread with preserve and pancakes. I was very happy to have brunch with different items with a bottle of sparkling wine
