Wet Lazing

Here is the gallery.

Some dogs do not care if their undersides get wet and some do a dance in wet grass. Which type do you have? Each dog has a unique personality and to be honest, I have had a number of breeds in our lives since I was born but there is nothing like the havanese. If I am feeling bad, they are right there without any expectations. All they want is you. LOL

Dogs had a good day. I still have one more dog to do. Ms Coco Spirit's pup is here till this evening. So is Mr. Ripley. Love is still in the air with you know who. Can you hear your human mom - give it a rest but Hallie doesn't care. Ms Coco the Maltese was here and she is so fun. She is now home. Tchibo and Barney spent a fair bit of time trying to root out a chipmunk. They were fascinated. Tomorrow Bailey, Tenshi and Cosmo come.

I want to wish everyone a fine Thanksgiving holiday. Our family is dropping their dogs off here so they can go do their thing. I said bring me leftovers and she said oh mom we are not doing that. Well, no one cooks a turkey like me. We are working but that's okay too. I get to spend the time with their dogs. Yes, laughing...

Now off to groom...

My two think rain and wet areas are out to get them 😅😅

Mine both know once you open the door 'oh, it's rain and wet, yuck' but go out away, without a sound, Pixie lags behind Leo. Then a rush to come in once business done.

Zoey goes out reluctantly and comes in quick. If Abby sees any sign of rain or snow she runs the other way and hides under the sofa, She won't go out until she is desperate and then rings the bell furiously goes quick and runs back in.She hates getting her feet wet and doesn't like anything coming down on her head. She needs a slicker and wellies like Paddington bear....

Lady Coco had a blast today and she looks gorgeous. So fluffy and silky. And yes, as Nathan predicted…took less than 3 minutes to pass out in the car after pick up lol!

Ripley really leans toward keeping his feet dry. Unless it’s a pee puddle and then he walks right through it lol. It’s the snow that brings out his inner drama queen. Snow between his toes? Oscar worthy performance that ends with being carried.

Poppy hates wet grass. She walks on the concrete blocks until she finds a spot and then steps onto the grass and pees. Then she runs back to the door. If it is raining, Ken goes out with the umbrella covering her. If it is pooh time, she uses the puppy mat in the house. Of course it must be a fresh mat or she will go on the carpet. Somehow I failed potty training.

Tchibo holds it until the rain is done. He absolutely hates wet paws!
Awww, I wish I could see him trying to hunt a chipmunk :)

Yeah rather hard to always have a camera with you. Missed moments that you see but don't record. I actually find it a riot when you do run for the camera how they stop. Doesn't matter what they are doing but they stop. Wish our eyes could record. LOL

I marvel at how Laci navigates around and between puddles, dirt & clumps of grass. Sometimes it looks like she’s in an obstacle course. And, she’s so fast. I still can’t figure out how this little girl can have me almost running ….. is it b/c she has 4 legs I’ve pondered?? 🤔
Another query - I can drop meat on the kitchen floor. Does she dive for it! No!! She looks down and looks up at me and back down. She never goes for it. If it’s safe to eat sometimes I’ll say, “ You can have it!” I didn’t teach her this. She’s just so very polite!
Such a treasure!
So grateful to have Miss Laci in our lives! 🙏
