Start of the Holiday

Cosmo just arrived and he is already playing with Opus. Mr. Brewer is visiting - rather special when he does. Ms Harlow thinks feeding time is at 4pm vs 430 as Dennis fed at that time a few days ago and she tells time.
The dogs are really playing like crazy and our trees are shedding. LOL Time to close the pool.
Told Nathan to get a turkey. He says no butterballs but he also said no BBQ chips. Instead he brought home BBQ corn chips. Oh boy. Someone said they were ordering from Swiss Chalet. I went up on their site and NO PRICES. Really - that was a futile attempt and its chicken - I know but maybe next best thing? At least it comes with pumpkin pie and gravy? Not mine but... Thinking I need to take over shopping and Nathan needs to take over grooming. yeah... Now that is hysterical.
Levon, Trigger and Murphy boy departs tomorrow. Bailey, Jersey, Kally and Murphy gal is coming. It's a truly outstanding group and are so pleased to see Levon playing his fool head off even with the gals. This duo - longtime coming but so delightful to reunite even if for a short period of time. So lucky when we get to see those we haven't for a long time due to covid. Thank you families for adding to our joy!

Going to sister's for Thanksgiving, and we're going to have roast duck, yum, on Monday.🦆
I AM FRUSTRATED. It's not just turkeys but chips and anything else I add to the list. I actually put a note on our list - bring phone and use facetime as I want to see. LOL. I gather we are not doing anything - probably peanut butter and jelly. He did buy stuffing - no potatoes, no gravy. .Stores would be crazy now so next year or maybe December and I will shop.Maybe if there really is turkeys he can buy one next week.
I won't send Tom shopping either, I have enough cinnamon sticks for DECADES.
Seriously, I advise for you to do the next holiday shopping but you have to do it in advance.
Tmrw morning is the last shopping time but the turkey has to be fresh, luck finding that☹
Homemade pumpkin pie coming to you on Monday afternoon, making 2 small ones and keeping 1 for us. It's the BEST!
