Wet Wet Day
Look at those eyes - so beautiful, imho.
It's been wet so we had less time outside - their choice and who can blame them. I am going to wash Katie. I have been combing her but I am waiting till its not so wet as it defeats itself.
Katie has been here for quite awhile and I am not sure how much longer but Ruth is getting better.
We had a busy day as we had Teddy the rescue go for his checkup. You can read his blog to see how he is doing.
Thunder, Keke, Opus and Logan and Panda are arriving tomorrow for the weekend. Meadow and Daisy are coming for grooming and play. Tomorrow we pick up another rescue who will be going to Sudbury. We are trying to figure out transportation.
Tonight I have to attempt to setup the puppy room upstairs as they are destined to go there at night in a few days. I will start and Dennis will finish.
Dogs played well and had fun. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law was here today dripping off Corey and Chiclet. They will be here for 10 days. They are doing well despite human mom thinking they wouldn't. Chiclet is on nathan's head and Corey was sitting with Dennis till he went to bed and now he's laying up in the top of the couch with Nathan in the tv room.
I need to get moving. I have videos to upload and a room to do. I hope I do a good job fast. LOL

Meadow will be happy to see her littermate Corey tomorrow - I wonder if they will know each other - and to meet Teddy!
Hi to everyone. I have been out of commission and in hospital for more than 10 weeks, I was extremely I'll. Apparently I had septecemia (infection in the bloodstream) and then while in hospital I came down with Covid 19. Can you believe it? I can't. Luckily I'm now on the mend and slowly getting better. I'm hoping to be out of hospital in a couple of weeks and then rehab and then home. I so miss my Katie....my heart just aches!!!
Werāµe so lucky we have Darlah and Nathan to look after her!!
Darlah
Are there 2 photos of Katie in today's blog? One of her at the stop step walking down all by herself and I think another of her on the deck by herself?
I love the way Pablo looks. Would love for Katie to be groomed like that but her fur is different.
Thanks
Ruth and Katie xoxo
Ruth her hair is shorter than Pablo so not possible but can do a similar style. Not washing her till it stops raining. How are you doing?
So very happy to hear from you Ruth, and that you are recovering from both serious illnesses.
I'm sure Katie misses you too, but is being well taken care of by both Nathan and Darlah.
Ruth
Glad to hear you are recovering. My sister had the same type of infection a few years ago. They thought it was her gall bladder. Thankfully she did get better. It was a long struggle as she ended up with thrush in her mouth and when they gave her the drink to stop it, she ended up with a burnt mouth and couldn't eat. The great part of her story was that she lost a lot of weight and has kept it off. I wouldn't recommend it as a regular weight loss program.
I am sure Katie will be happy to see you. Even if she has enjoyed Camp Takemaker and all the fun.
Those eyes are wonderful!
