Slushy Times

Here is the small gallery.

It looks like snow but doesn't act like snow. When you step in it, there is water under that white stuff and lots of it just sitting there.

The dogs preferred indoors and we do not take a lot of indoor photos. We do take some. Dennis was out lots trying to push the water aside. It just came back. It was a futile task and I could have told him that when he began but no.... I can name you the dogs that didn't appreciate wet icy feet but I won't. I am sure you know who without me saying.

Brewer walked gently on the top. Those that ran got so soaked they had to go under the dryers. All you can do is laugh.

Sherry got me a lamp for my holiday present. I chipped in for a Fitbit for her. We exchange gifts each year. Neither of us get gifts other than with each other so it is nice. She also got a steam card for Dennis and he has been so happy he is still trying to figure out which games to buy. I love it! Some of our puppy people give us chocolate and food - yum. It is so appreciated especially as it is so busy starting the 21st on. Cooking - what is that - okay we do cook for the dogs always!

This year no family event at our daughters. No gift exchange. Last year I made and bought so many things for everyone. This year will just be the dawgs and us. Besides we have pups so it's a dawg holiday. I hope it is a snow powdered holiday so we can take magnificent photos to share. Maybe you will enjoy. I hope so! If you see one of yours that you like, I can put it on something as my gift to you.

I am still waiting for a photo from someone that gave us a gift. I want to do something special for you.

I did 4 pillows for my sister-in-law of her and her family so the grandchildren can always have them with them. That made me smile. That is what holidays are about - smiles. The gifts are the dogs.

So, I do so hope all of you no matter what you celebrate have broad smiles all season. Now when you smile, the dawgs will be happy too. Try it and you will see!

Happy early holidays all! May it be everything you dream it to be!
