Teaser Uploaded

Mom & Dad were going to take a photo of me drinking from my new Mutt-tini glass. I was already using it but mom didn't have her camera ready - silly mom! So, she found a photo online to post. I am using it daily but mom never has her camera when I do - geez mom!

Thanks to my other mom - Momma Rita and Daddy Willard for such a trendy gift. They know I am a red carpet gal.

I've Got Their Number

Daddy and Mom took me to the vet to see if I have pups coming soon. Until then, I was just getting my food and if I felt like not eating, well they would feed me next time.

Well now that they know, well am I eating good or what. They give me the very best and feed me all sorts of foods - different each day or I won't eat. Oh, do I have it good and do I have them wrapped around my paw.

They think I am a finicky eater but in reality it's all about what they feed me. I am no junkyard dawg! I only like the very best!

Rita and Willard came to pick up their Mojo and Opal. I am going to miss them - sniff! Life is good and I am lazing after eating all that great food Rita and Willard got for lunch.

Mom gave Shoshi, Katsuro, Opal and Mojo a bath today. I overheard her telling dad that I am getting mine tomorrow with Risa. I think tomorrow is my day to stay incognito.

As I said - a gal has to do what a gal has to do.

Day 36 and counting. I got to play with Rita and Willard's new pup today and am I going to have fun or what. I do love the pups.

Nathan's Adventure Into Feeding Wasabi

It is now Sept. 16, 36 days after her first breeding. Wasabi's tummy has a slight bulge, she hasn't really gained much weight yet, ounces only. She seems to be suffering from morning sickness and she is definitely more lethargic, preferring to sleep. Always a finicky eater, she's worse now or she has my number, waiting for the increasingly good fare she gets when the hours pass and her bowl remains untouched. So far today, she stayed in bed an hour after everyone else had gone down and outside, eaten breakfast etc. Now she's asleep on the couch. Tough life. I'll try to get her eating shortly.

Wasabi's First Adventure in Motherhood

Well, we recently found out that Sonrisas' Hot N Spicy Wasabi is pregnant for the first time. It's so exciting. Wasabi is a Canadian championship. The sire is R'Gang's Buster At Rockhurst who is an American and Canadian champion.

You can see the beautiful dam here with one of her pack mate's Risa's pups. She's going to make such a great mom. She played with Risa's and tried to take care of them throughout. We would even catch her in spying on them in the middle of the night.

Such exciting times.

Wasabi is having morning sickness, not acting her usual playful self.

We set up the whelping box and Wasabi jumped in and we wondered if she thought Risa was going to have more pups but this is her turn and we know she is going to love it.

Wasabi is due mid October so she is now more than halfway through her pregnancy.
Be sure to follow this blog to see Wasabi's exciting first time into motherhood.
