Heat Is On

What does a havanese do after a bath? They do the run like hell game. Dear old Tenshi is departing momentarily. Keke, Daisy, Daisy and Jersey are departing today. Yes there are 2 Daisys. Barney arrived.

Ozzie walked on the stairs today while I was in the pool. I thought maybe he would come in. He didn't but I think he appreciated cooling off his feet.

Mr. Fenton really likes the Tenshi. He will be sad to see her go.

Dennis tried the run game to try to get some great photos and to exercise the dogs and they just looked at him as if to say - hey human don't you know it's hot.

It is a busy weekend as people are going away - more this than next. It will be FUN!

It's a Hot One

The dogs have had a great time today. A number will be departing tomorrow. KeKe, Tenshi and Daisy plus those coming for grooming. All have been having an amazing time and I don't say that lightly. Then this noon time we got Velvet and Mabel and to say they had complete joy on arrival is an understatement. They continue to be excited to be here. It has been a long time.

It will be a very busy day tomorrow and the arrival of Brewer and Barney. It will be fun!

The weather will be good and maybe Nathan will get some in to swim.

Three Blog Night

Fading out.... Bailey is about to depart. Lucky already went. Holiday weekend is filling up.

The dogs had an outstanding time here and I bet the pups will fade out when they get home.

Swim and Non Swim

Only Bailey and Lucky went into the pool today with Misty. I just uploaded a few videos of the swimming and play. Bailey's mom says she doesn't like water - maybe a bath? She went back in on her own and she is as fast if not faster than her mom. Wow. Lucky did amazing too plowing along. Bailey and Lucky departs tomorrow.

Keke didn't swim but she was excited to see the others do so.

An interesting thing that Lucky does when wet is jump and twirl mid air. I wish I had caught it.

Tomorrow we arre going to try to get the older dogs in if the weather cooperates. We did try to get Ozzie in but he was not interested. It wasn't that warm today and we only had a small window as I have been dematting a dog each day.

Ms apricot Ellie was here having a blast and you will see some of it in the gallery.

Dogs surely enjoy the lazing outside. You can see them lazing in the gallery.

Remy, Silver Ellie, Winston all departed. So fun to see the dogs after a huge break. We are so lucky to see them.

2 Blog Day

It was a wonderful day outside. We had sun but not too much heat so Nathan swam, I didn't. Tomorrow I will fit sometime in. I promised Bailey's mom she would get a swim in so we will try.

We have 3 pups with us having a lot of fun. We also have a 10 year old Rue (departing tonight) who has been splendid. Of course we have Remy, Ozzie and Cali and Fenton.

The dogs played games today. It was a full day of activity and now they rest watching tv.

Ellie arrived and has been playing a ton with everyone. Bailey a Misty pup arrived and has been having a blast and so remembers Mom. Tomorrow Lucky and Keke comes so I am sure Bailey will be thrilled. Callie and Fenton arrive - been forever. Rue arrives. Archie and Coco depart.

It is nice to see the play and people going away. I will tell you it does my heart good to see the dogs enjoying.

It was a nice sunny day but not a hot one. The dogs were in heaven after the heat!

Hot and Peek-a-Boo Sun

Phoenix is going home shortly. So trying to keep him looking groomed. Ask me how that is going but I will sprice him up yet again before the parents arrive.

Pups and Adults

Phoenix, Coco and Lucky are here and Coco and Lucky will depart tonight. Puppy fun is amazing to us and to the adults here. Ripley is here for the day. Mr. Ozzie dropped in for some days. So long since we have seen him and a joy!

Archie totally believes he is the man of the hour with the gals. It's a true riot. He makes me laugh and laugh.

Mabel is an agile fun ball of I am here - let's go, let's play - amazing how much energy and then she crashes.

Mr Ripley walked on the stairs of the pool. I went oh will he swim? Nah cooling off those feet. It was a hot one today that started with rain and ended with much sun.

What can I say about Remy? He is such a laidback older guy whio so loves snuggling with Roxie and she enjoys it too. He is always investigating and exploring. It's a pleasure having him here.

It's a mighty hot one and it remains hot tonight. Glad for air as then you can sleep especially when you have dogs laying all over you.

Dogs didn't want to stay out long.In out in out was an all day thing but that's okay.

It's tv time as I type. Dennis wants my office as its his day off today - Nathan's tomorrow. Dednnis is playing VR in here.

All I can say is puppies bring life to the party!

Oh Those Pups

Coco has been here and Vivi dropped in for the day. Chester kept looking at them playing, trying to engage but they had eyes for each other. Vivi has departed after her waterbowl play (Is Coco teaching her fun?) and no matter what you did, you couldn't stop her fun except remove the bowl and they need water. LOL There is worse things they can do. I laughed.

It rained for a bit today. Tomorrow is supposed to be mighty hot. I had a nice day off. Oh my it is raining again as I type - like pouring. Dennis has his day off tomorrow. I only have a couple of grooms so maybe I will see a pool.

I was going to go to Markville and treat myself to Purdy's cordial cherries. I saved myself a couple of pounds. LOL It was a lazy day with the dogs sitting all over me.

Chester departs tomorrow. He will be missed. Brewer came and had a ton of fun. I am glad even with the move we still see him. You get attached, you know. Mr. Phoenix arrives tomorrow. Can't wait!

Even though we have had threats from Enbridge - no lie on all our infractions - some mighty silly. Yopu really can't believe the threats of gas shut offs. Then a heater issue and the list goes on and on, without the pups I may do myself in but it has been such a pleasure to see dogs we have not seen. Humans that bring them that we have not seen. Special dog people that we love - you know who you are. Even with all the woes, it sure beats lockdown in a HUGE way. I am thankful.

Day of Frustration But Fun Too

I finished grooming at 8 tonight then I am having fits with trying to change my lightroom catalog to another drive as I am out of room.

It was HOT HOT HOT and I stepped in the pool between groomings. Later on a few went swimming. I took photos.

Hot, Muggy and Lazing

Something about feeling like 40c this week. It sure feels muggy today. That's okay. Better than rain? Not if you do not have air. Thankfully we do or the dogs would be revolting. I am so thankful for air.

Hugo and Ali departed. Theo and Panda will depart after dinner. Diamond gal already left and Nathan was coveting her at nap time. They came a bit early and I looked at them strange and they said Diamond. I knew Diamond but went they are early. LOL If I owned her, I would come early too. We so feel that way with all but something delicious about pups.  Murphy gal departed a bit ago. Miss Coco comes tonight. I wonder how she will play with Mabel.

I feel so lucky to have the adults visiting us that we have not seen in forever. I feel as if we are in dig heaven and that's a wonderful thing to be in!

Looking outside it looks like rain and it is a feel like 93f 33c. I did manage to get a swim in. None of the dogs went in.

My weeds are growing and I DO NOT CARE. The dogs like to bark at the neighbours behind us so we are refocusing them. It just started so we are being super diligent. It is working or maybe it's Nathan's evil eye. Just teasing. Of course it doesn't help that the neighbour makes noises at them so we did ask them to stop. Why do people do silly things?

I had a friend suggest arthritis cold gloves. Trying to research. Don't want another gimmick.

I think I will finish a class that I should have started 6 weeks ago - seriously and now I am being asked when I am beginning. LOL I guess today. It is only an hour class.

2 Posts Today

When it rains outside, the play starts up inside. The dogs are having fun. Me, not so much.

Tomorrow we have a number of dogs departing. Monday a couple of more. I can't comb out anyone before departing. Nathan will have to. My hand is in rough shape all the way up my arm.

The dogs here are happy its a no groom day. LOL

Hello Darlah and Nathan,

I can’t believe our fur baby Beau is 3 today.  He is a happy happy bundle of fun and just loves his human brothers and sisters.  

Beau wants to say Happy "Beau day" (hehe) to his fur brothers and sisters Echo, Louis, Ollie, Cocoa and Maddi.  Big wet kisses to Mama Let and Papa Stone.  Big wet kisses to Darlah and Nathan too for letting me go to a family that loves me and cuddles with me when there’s thunderstorm and fireworks. 

I hope to be able to visit soon.

Okay, smell you later.  I’m going to enjoy my pupcake.

Oh the Fun of the Hot

This is Alfie. He was over for a play and spruce up. Isn't he adorable? He had a toptal blast with his sister and his mother, Misty.

Theo, Panda and Murphy arrived. Never did get in the pool. Harlow and Benny have such a passion for food - Remy too. Nathan had salmon and they jumped straight up in hopes that they could get it.

Dogs are really enjoying each other and tv always is the best.

For some reason Dennis didn't do a run session outside. He mumbled its too hot. Maybe he needs to do it in the halls upstairs. The dogs enjoy it so. Plus it tuckers them out.

Tuesday and Wednesday are my non groom days from this week on. Weekends are too busy so I am being proactive for my hands and well everyone needs some down time.

Better Late Than Never

Oh my gad the food was to die for and I think I gained 20 pounds.

We have a great bunch here today. Maui and Nava was here for the day. Benny, Remy, Ty and Diamond are here. Diamond and her canine mom Misty are stuck like glue. They are having an amazing time.You will see a few photos in the gallery.

We may br expecting Alfie. I haven't heard. Panda and Theo are coming. We are going to have a great weekend and hoping to get some in the pool. Finally some great weather.

Was a fUN dAY

Coco was here and had a blast. We are so lucky to see the puppies. Diamond arrives tomorrow. Also, Maui and Nava come for a spruce up and play for the day. Remy and Ty also arrive. Remy we haven't seen for quite a long time so that will be good.

I had a day off and it was nice. My hands are in such a state that they tingle and I can't hold anything but I decided if I am going to get demattings then IO will be taking 2 days off mid week each week so I can play recovery. I can't do it thsi week but Tuesday and Wednesday next week is designated as a no groom day till the hand calms down. I had a break from it being so bad and then too many demattings. So, I am being proactive.

I went into the pool by myself and floated on a raft. I sat outside on the couch with dogs and enjoyed the weather. We also did boring stuff and that always happens when I don't go out on days off. LOL We went to Rens to get pads. We went to Globals to get dog food. We went to brunos for food. We also went to Canadian Tire for pool salt and metal straws as I am tired of paper ones flattening. Now I am blogging and the day is almost over.

The dogs are in the tv room chilling with Nathan. Dennis is setting up his VR machine in my office as the dogs keep trying to eat the cord. Dennis got a VR machine a few years back for the holidays and he still uses it.
