Happy New Year's Eve

Here's the crew - well almost the crew. (minus Whitney our old lady retriever and we also had Oreo before he went home and Louis who goes home tonight.)

They are waiting to usher in the New Year.

I try to have fun with the camera and dogs our our passion. I went outside first - sat at the end of the deck and waiting for the crew to come running out towards me all to capture the money shot of Treasure flying in the air, pumping for all she was worth to catch up to the rest of the crew.

Here, Treasure playing catch up.

It's moments like these that make my heart beat a tad faster and my mouth curl up in a smile as I realize what life is truly about!

From the home of Talemaker Havanese to yours, we wish you the very best new year!

Crazy Talemaker Havanese Times

This is one of our visitors who will be here till around December 8th. This is Downsey. I just brushed her up and she shook her head. She's just like her sister Fiona. We have Downsey, Flora, Lola and Maggie setting up their shingle here and enjoying the landscape.

That part isn't crazy - well maybe for some of you but we also have Kat home and 3 gals still in heat and one we are hoping is preggie - Wasabi - that is. You don't want to know what a boy is like when gals are in heat and he has to be kept away. Like I said - crazy times.

We are starting to get better around here - not whole yet but can finally see some progress. Four weeks of congestion is a bit much but we survived the specialty - I think.

Oh and we are adding a new addition on December 12th. Wasabi - of pregnant is due December 24th. Yvonne comes back around the 8th. Gidget also visits during that time for 3 weeks.

Full house and here's a photo of our new addition. We are watching her change by the moment.

Catching the Havanese in Action

Risa says: Sometimes life is too boring around this place so we play these crazy games of run after an object that we assume 'could' be out in back.

It makes for interesting scenes of togetherness and if you can figure out what was really going on with the Abs here - well clue me in. Was it collide city or she just had to be ever close to Katsuro or WHAT! But hey - it was downright fun.

We are getting ready for the rain that is coming and they say it's going to be a truly heavy one.

So those humans have been taking us out frequently just in case we decide we don't like that wet stuff.

If those humans open the door and sit at the end of the deck - well one has to open - one has to sit at the end of the deck, we just explode out the door as if we are flying.

We can't help it. It's a dawg thing you know. No matter how many photos that human Mommy takes, they would all end up different too but Katsuro is 'always' first out of the door. What is that about?
You must know some humans that say 'me first' well Katsuro is a little like that but we love him anyways. hahahaha

You can click on the photos to see a larger view.

Just when you think it is all run and play, Abigail kicks it up a notch and takes a love bite at one of her other pack mates. You may so - oh oh - what is that about but it is strictly play and she has now managed to even get the adults in the act but not me - the Risa. I make sure when they ratchet it up too much, I go in and stop them and they listen. Oh - to have that magic touch. They don't call me the 'Queen Biach' for nothing but that human daddy reminds me that it's all in fun.

Someone has to control the crew. ha!
