Toes Time

This gal was playing a game of touch her toes. She seemed fascinated that she had these toes on her back feet.

The 7 really really get along as if they were part of one litter. Moms are amazing as they will feed any of them. True mother love!

5 Weeks 1 Day Old

Sorry - no gallery but lots of videos. I am going to try to get more photos to make a gallery when they go upstairs again. I formatted the disk by accident. It happens. We are all human.

The pups are all together now so 1 gallery and 1 set of videos each day now. They seem to be adjusting better than the moms adjusting. The moms go in to feed them and they feed each other pups. It's an amazing thing. They need feeding so let's just do this.

Now that is special - don't you think?

5 Weeks Plus Upstairs Play

Here is the gallery of just them plus the upstairs play with 7 - both litters.

Pups had fun upstairs. we were going to put them all together downstairs but may wait till tomorrow. We shall see. They are playing with each other and the toys quite nicely. All is sleeping as I type.

They look forward to going upstairs.

4 Weeks 6 Days

Here is the gallery.

Oh the pups - all 7 are delicious. They truly enjoy each other. The moms won't be crazy about it but maybe tomorrow is the day to put all 7 together. We shall see.

They are now playing upstairs twice a day. They so look forward to it! Families visiting in the new year. How fun! Masks required as it is indoors - sorry. But better safe than sorry. I promise to get the pups ready for masks.

4 Weeks 5 Days Old

Here is the gallery.

The pups are starting to run - well some of them. It is a riot. The gal from Misty is also trying to run. It goes to show you that the younger set learns from the older crew.

The pups were upstairs twice today. Once was with me and the next time was with Dennis. As I was grooming late, I wasn't able to get photos or videos and besides Dennis will leave if I take photos with him in it so I don't. 

The puppies are getting mighty interesting. Check out the videos.

4 Weeks 4 Days

Here is the gallery.

Pups are doing well. They are starting to gain again and they are eating solid food even by themselves but water is not desired. This is normal. You have to work them into it. They can't go upstairs till they drink water. Misty's crew has not eaten solid food yet but will in a few days.

They appear to play really well together and do not separate into groups. They will be able to be meshed easily.

I tried the hanging toys today but they were not interested in it. A few went into the bathroom to investigate. They are no longer staying close and letting their curiousity guide them.

4 Weeks 3 Days

Here is the gallery. To see the litters together upstairs, see the Misty blog. I will try to alternate and have unique ones per blog. It's extra work but eventually it will be all 7 together without any separate galleries.

As Tempie is in heat, you will see Tempie with the pups. Misty isn't overly fond of her taking over her 2 but she sometimes allows it. Sage also sometimes allows. You can often find Tempie in Sage's xpen just laying and staring at the pups. Tempie is meant to be a mom. LOL But she has had hers this year and she can just coddle theirs, imho. 

The 2 litters light up when they see us. They look forward to you playing with them. It is wonderful.

They are also walking on the floor decently - both litters. How amazing is that for them to be so sure footed.

4 Weeks 2 Days

Pups were upstairs and are quite animated these days. They all did pretty good today considering it is the 3rd time and they had a new area.

All pups seem to be quite pleased if you lay on the floor with them. I think Sage's pups will get teeth soon. They keep gnawing on everything.

4 Weeks 1 Day

Here is the gallery.

The pups were eating food again - only once in a day to see how their digestion handles it. So far, so good.

They were also out in the hall. Here is a gallery of both litters out in the hall.

Pups were not as active as day 1 but they were okay. They are napping now.

First Solid Food and Hall Play With Pals

Here is the gallery.

They did pretty decent with their 1st taste of food. They are not interested in the water yet but that is VERY normal. Water is the last thing they partake from especially when they are still feeding from mom. We still put it in their xpen so they can check it out.

Food was left in the pen today. They will be given more tonight or tomorrow. Moms will eat what is left.

They also had a great and I mean great play session in the hall with Misty's pups. You can see the gallery of the hall play in Misty's blog. It was as if they were playing with each all along. It is amazing. Of course Misty's pups needed more sleep as they are a full week younger but no one was afraid - crying or hiding. 

They seem to really enjoy. 

They have been sleeping - both crews since the hall play.
