3 Weeks Old

I took a funny video of me in the Cinnamon pen where Saffron joins in. Saffron's taking over. It's a riot.

Here is the gallery.

Can you believe they are 3 weeks old today. I keep shaking my head. Time is a blur.

We are short blogging it tonight so do check out the videos.

New Digs 20 Days Old

Cinnamon Pups are now out of their whelping box. No squeaks - no concerns. They adjusted immediately. They also started playing. I caught some on the videos.

They can now see Stormy and Raven pups on purpose. This gives them comfortability for new things for them and it works the same for Raven and Stormy pups. They are curious.

Here is the gallery.

19 Days Old and Nails

Yes, we had our nails done and we were squirmy monkeys. It may be that we were woken up to have this happen. nah.... couldn't be that!

Here is the gallery.

The human here took a breath and didn't get us into our pen outside the whelping box. Such a lazy thing she is. LOL We will get it done.

Make sure you check out the videos.

The pups are now starting to get up on their legs and attempting to walk. I promise I will get a video of it tomorrow as it is so cute.

Here is the gallery.

Usually by 3 weeks they get mighty interesting.

Tomorrow I may take the pups out of the whelping box. We shall see.

Be sure to check out the videos.

17 Days Old

They stand up on their legs and try the drunken sailor walk. I have to catch it on video. So it begins.

Here is the gallery.

I realized by the time the Stormy and Raven pups depart, the crew of 3 litters will be walking.

This crew is already telling me to stop weighing them. They climb out. They bounce the scale numbers all over. It's a riot. I think it is time we upgrade our scale when we can - before we do this next time. Not now.

Be sure to watch the videos. I am working on getting them up.

The pups are starting to interact. I cleaned off the bum of one and she wasn't having any of it. It was like - you are doing WHAT! I laughed. She will get used to it.

Here is the gallery.

Cinnamon is so laid back with this crew. It's nice.

Be sure to check out the videos.

Two Weeks 1 Day Old

Good moms have mega patience. You don't know how long Cinnamon stayed in this position just so her puppy could snuggle with her.

Here is the gallery.

Cinnamon had a bath today after this photo lol. Her pups sniffed and sniffed her when she came to see them. It was actually funny.

Be sure to check out the videos.

The pups are already 2 weeks old. Soon we will be taking them out of the whelping box.

They are now all over 1lb. They are starting to move around. I am going to start putting in toys for them as it stimulates the mind. The fun is about to begin.

Be sure to check out the videos.

I will be uploading videos.

The rest will wait till tomorrow.

All pups are fat and doing really well!

12 Days and Eyes Open

Click on Photo for Larger ViewAnd so it begins.... This girl is the 1st to have her eyes open and they are wide open! I was excited to see they were this morning. I went to weigh them and went oh my little one, you can see me!

Here is the gallery for the eyes open gal.

No one else is showing signs yet of opening their eyes but I can't wait. Magic happens when eyes and ears open. Eyes and ears happens at the same time.

You see they can see and hear and they react and start using both senses. Till then it is only touch and smell.

Here is the gallery of this girl and her siblings.

I am looking forward to the rest of them having eyes open. after that happens they get to get out of the whelping box.

Be sure to watch the videos. I upload them when I get moments. Most times I am still uploading at bedtime.

11 Days Old

Cinnamon's pups are nice and plump. I hope when their eyes open, they get to see me/ I love being their first connection. Silly but I love when they start opening.

Here is the gallery.

I am acutely aware that depending on the print you sometimes can't see the puppies. I have to do individual photos on all. Maybe in a couple of days when we do nails. We shall see.

This is a quiet crew except for the black and white that calls on mom to feed, she wants to sleep against mom etc.

Be sure to watch the videos.

10 Days Old

They are getting fat. They get vocal if they want to eat.

Here is today's gallery.

When I weigh them they try to climb out if the scale. It can sometime be interesting in getting an accurate weight. But we do it! In a half hour another weigh in. We do this at 7am and at 7pm.

9 Days Old

These pups are always so comfortable in their positions. It makes me happy and makes me laugh.

Here is today's gallery.

Steak is Cinnamon's fave and she likes pistachio nuts. LOL She loves Mousse too but give me the good stuff and not the cheap steak either. Only one that isn't picky so far is Saffron.

Pups are plump and want for nothing.

We now have pups max 7 days apart - or 6 for one. We will be able to merge the 3 litters. I do believe the one that appears back is a tri. The sable is bleeding through nicely.

Be sure to check out the videos.

Friday

8 Days Old

Cinnamon was a tad miffed that they no longer was sharing Saffron's pups but she is now being exclusively attentive with her pups.

We always want 2 litters at once due to issues like this. I am lucky that I truly have great moms.

Here is the gallery.

Cinnamon's pups also didn't gain as much as usual. It takes 24 to 48 hours to ramp up more milk when you have more pups. So each pup, got less. If Saffron was not in the picture, within 48 hours Cinnamon would have been producing more milk. It is a supply/demand process.

Pups are doing really well. I can't wait till their eyes open.

Week Old and No Gallery

Can you believe a full week old? We will have to play catch up tomorrow. Not enough sleep and getting at that stage of punch drunk. I am having to make sure the Saffron pups feed every 2 hours.

Nathan is sleeping. I am going to try to sleep after him so I can be up all night. With Saffron being sore, I imagine she will need me.

The pups are 6 days old, relaxed and wanting for nothing. Momma Cinnamon seems to be so attentive.

Here is the gallery.

I can't believe they are almost a week old.

5 Days Old Already!

Got to love the puppies. They are so adorable.

Here is a gallery.

Cinnamon has started to sleep outside of her whelping box until they make a peep. Ella tends to come in each time they make a noise. Cinnamon is not sure what to think about it. Both moms are such a riot!

Be sure to watch the videos.

4 Days Old

Here's looking at you, Cinnamon says. LOL

Pups are doing well. She keeps trying to peer at Ella's pups. So Ella goes in her pen and does the same. Oh so funny to watch them.

Here is the gallery.

The dogs got a new set up late last night so we could fit in Saffron's xpen. So Ella got a larger pen, Cinnamon the same size and the Raven and Stormy crew a different shape but at the end near the tv - still the largest. Dennis fit in my recliner so he could sit down. We are in good shape.

Cinnamon didn't like the Raven and Stormy crew peering in so I placed a blanket between. Now Cinnamon is happy. Although busy, we had a good day today.

Be sure to check out the videos.

3 Full Days Old

Pups are doing well.

This is today's gallery.

Momma Cinnamon wants to cover them. Dennis had both pens open last night. He's going to do it each night so they each stop trying to take care of the other's pups. Yes, they are doing that.

They gained weight quite well.

Short blog but hope you understand.

Be sure to check out the videos of both crews here.

Cinnamon Pups 2 Days Old

Cinnamon and Ella's pups are close in age. I wonder what Saffron will be.

Cinnamon's pups have been gaining quite well.

Here is the gallery.

Cinnamon has spent too much time being nosey about Ella's pups but that's normal.

We are in the stage where she is eating a ton. I need to clean her each time she goes out. She runs outside. she runs back.

All is good.

Be sure to check out the videos.
