Snow, Rain and Wind

What a day of storms. :-) Here are a few photos Dennis took.

This was Kona looking for treats. Kona was over the top excited to see mom. One would think he didn't have a good time but over the years we have learned they come, they play hard, have the time of their life and then there is NO PLACE LIKE HOME!

I got 3 hours sleep thsi afternoon - hooray! Maybe a full night sleep. Dennis is sleeping so he can do night duty. I a, looking forward to 10pm.

We are still having a ton of fun. Hoping by tomorrow we will all have sufficient sleep. I seem to go from xpen to xpen - to laundry to playing with dogs to grooming to blow drying due to rain. I am surprised I even managed the blogs. hahahah But here they are. Not multiple entries but one a piece.

Snow no Rain

I am not complaining but they said a ton of rain and all we have had is snow. :-) Here are a few photos. Everyone is having a blast. Kona departs tomorrow just before dinner and as you will see he has had a really great time. He's a snow monkey now.

Yeah its a tad wet out there. hahahaha

The Dusty gal is here playing up a storm and getting wet too. :-)

In and out, in and out we go many times a day and all you have to say is outside and they come running.

They say the rain is still coming so I am hoping Spice cooperates so I can get Kona's bath in. Where there is a will, there is a way. :-)

Today Less

Today we are sharing Scruffy and Pepper playing in their yard before they come here.

Wanted to post videos but too large for my site and not up to finding a solution - way too tired - sorry.

Will I get more photos up today. Well, it is noon - got a bath to do and I am fading - so doubt it - sorry.

Not sure with Panda in labor how many photos I will clicl or get up but here is a photo of Charlie we received.

He's a very pretty boy and Momma says he wasn't brushed so ignore that. I think he looks gorgeous natural. He's a Kat and Wasabi pup.

Here is some morning play. Doubt I will add more later as we may be too busy.

Everyone is playing and I mean everyone but Panda, Jeannie, Roxie and Spice. We didn't click all. Sometimes we have the camera - sometimes not and sometimes we need to shovel like today. These are all Nathan's clicks. Jeannie wanted to stay in the tv room and stay dry. heh

Oh My Gad

This is a no time for photo day. Dennis stayed up all night with pups so he slept till 1030ish. Nathan was at the show first thing. So, I placed my grooming table in the hallway and was able to watch pups and groom. I got everyone groomed, washed 6 dogs, fed, played and here I sit. I am so very tired. Nathan just walked in the door. I clicked a few photos on the kitchen and one of Cooper out with Dennis but sorry this is almost a no click day. Cali got reserve winners 2 days out of 3. Leti baby puppy but Adele and Jeannie nothing. It was a very political weekend.

If we knew about Roxie we wouldn't have booked this show. It was a pro handler weekend.

You have to imagine me playing and grooming. It was a comical day. The dogs loved it. The more tired I got the sillier, I suppose.

I just want the food, now will do please! Jazmyn (just had a bath) is now home with her Marlee dawg pal I bet snoozing.

Really I groomed them but Kona is a true play monkey these days. He knows the drill. Groom me, I get a treat and then I play and mess up everything you did. Here they are intently waiting for dinner.

Many times a day Leti and Wasabi play. It's a relationship that has developed and is amazing to watch.

 Cooper, it's time for dinner. I will stay here with Dennis while we figure out where the rabbits are. :-)

It's been a day. Tomorrow Nathan can do cleanup. Cooper departs on Wednesday. Kona on Friday. We may or may not have more pups. I need sleep before then. hahahaha

It's a Crazy Day

Nathan is at the show. I washed dogs before he left. After he left Dennis went in with Roxie and I started grooming everyone. I also took them out to play 3 times - Dennis twice. We are also doing laundry, puppy watch, feeding moms to be. I am lacking sleep and haven't had a shower and won't till Nathan gets home tonight. Tomorrow I get to bathe some to go home. Busy times. But we are getting it all done.

Didn't get all action today but we have had it. Didn't have my camera every time as I had to do cleanup too. :-)

We are truly having fun. Nathan doesn't get home till 630ish and then I have to wash show dogs and of course there is Roxie. Hope I get sleep.

Ok Short Update

Doing a short update as I do not know what the day will bring and I have half the dogs groomed and doing the rest after this blog. Let's see if Roxie cooperates. :-) So far seems so.

Dennis is out now doing cleanup and clicking.

Show so far, Muntuno got his first real points (no points in baby puppy) getting winners dog. There are 13 havs at this show. Nothing for Jeannie. Leti won baby puppy (her very first show) and is going in for group in a bit. Nothing for Adele. Cali won her class.

This is a lovefest in our kitchen this morning.

The dogs are having a lot of fun. It's warm out but icy so they are playing more inside than out. Hoping it stays warm enough to melt. We were out there without our jackets.

Rafi say - want to play with me?

This is what we look like after playing hard and BEFORE the brushout. I brush daily as the dogs play hard and more play equals knots at times. Most don't have this much play on a daily basis.

Kona talks when he wants dogs to play. Some didn't quite understand it but when they realize he's introducing play they talk back and its a bloody riot. Kona is a talker.

Jazmyn finds outside a glorious thing. She just adores outside. She even sticks her face in the snow and I swear she is smiling.

Marlee is a gal on a mission always looking for the play. Boy does she need a bath. She came clean and with all this play - oh boy.

Socks has been playing with Cooper.

Dennis tells me I have more photos but I am brushing, dehydrating chicken, watching Roxie - got the olympics on and blogging. So more photos - probably not. This will have to do.

Three Updates Today

Hi all, 

Piper just wanted to say Happy Valentine's and send some hugs and kisses to mama Teaser, daddy Truffie, and the rest of the Talemaker and Pocopayasos crew! Trying to get a decent picture was pure comedy. She was patient and sat nice for the first few minutes but then thought maybe if she went through her repertoire of tricks we'd give her the treat, then she just got frustrated and took it out on the bears. Enjoy! 

More Valentine's Day Fun: 2 Updates Today

Shannon said she kept clicking and clicking. I 'get' that. These people who can stage their dogs and get a fab shot right out of the gate well I am not sure about that. hahahahaPersonally, I rather love this shot so thanks for clicking!

Levon and Trigger are sending a huge Happy Valentines's Day. They are spreading the love today!

Scruffy and Pepper are sending a truly fun togetherness shot. Huge kisses and love going out from these too to all the rest of the dawgs! I rather miss this duo. Thursdays are not the same. :-)

Me, 4 dogs done 2 more to go and everyone brushed except Shoshi and Fiona.

Very Crazy Day

I am working on photos. Nathan is at class. He didn't take Leti as he didn't want to be away too long but I think he is safe with Roxie.

I just did Muntuno and he is now at class and at the show this weekend. Isn't he gorgeous? Cali needs that hair as big hair wins in the ring for some silly reason.

Trying to get a gallery or post photos here. Seeing if Nathan or Dennis took photos that came out.

Looks like the photos didn't come out. I got bums, half heads etc. I think they must have been blind taking these. Sorry - will take some myself tomorrow but I also have 5 dogs to wash - 4 going to the show and Bentley. :-)

Things like this - Rafi, Kona and Brewer. All I can tell you is Rafi and Brewer are amazing friends. Rafi is Brewer's brother. They too recognize each other.

Check out today's gallery. In case we have pups soon I needed to put it all in a gallery. Shelby came to play and you will catch her flying in the air. The rest were playing their hearts out. There were moments I wished I had captured but I need a camera attached to my head. :-) Rocky departs today. He has really opened up these days!

Late Update Today

Nathan was trying to figure out how to take Flash photos last night. Before we get home Trigger and Levon will have already departed. Who knows what photos we will get as Dennis and Jonathan won't be concentrating on clicking. They will be playing and taking care of the dogs.

Trigger and Levon are a blast to have here. They really know how to play. Though Cooper flattened the 2 last night with a jump in the air. I am not sure he meant to do it but I don't think he was counting on the snow cover. I wish I had caught that as Trigger looked up as if to say what was THAT? Then they were off and playing up a storm. It was as if they knew it was just in play and it was. Marlee seems to always be in the thick of it and Kona barks, play bows and then starts his pursuit game. It's a GREAT mix. Even Jazmyn is finding her play.

All the dogs are now brushed so I don't have to come home to that including Levon and Trigger. Wow what a busy morning. More later here or maybe not. Indeed the Panda and Spice blogs will get updated. Here it depends on if I find the time to click.

Posing

I just finished washing Roxie. She's going to the vets tomorrow as she has milk. Maybe she can help Panda?

What I noticed about this photos is how much she looks like Logan.

I am not sure if I will get to photos today or not. I still have some to brush out. Nathan hasn't clicked any yet and neither has Dennis. Though they have been in and out a ton of times. I also have Zoe here for a bath.

Sylvia gave me a keyboard for my ipad and Daddy Truffie and Mommy Abigail got some treats (huge thanks) and I am typing on it right now. The duo are saying nah nah I got treats and you don't. Okay, I gave in and gave the rest chicken strips. What a suck I am. At least Nathan tells me so.

This keyboard is easier to type this way and I don't always have to rely on my computer to do updates - wow. This may make it easier when pups come. If I am going between moms then I can have my ipad and keyboard with me. It will also make it MUCH easier come spring/summer. I have a feeling I am going to be living in the xpens at times with a new mom Panda and a mom with many Spice perhaps. See their blogs to follow. To those that make fun of us or post photos of our gate in the front as dogs have scraped it to hey - well we made a huge splurge and bought a new gate that will come in a week or two. It's bronze, no longer wood so no chew toy gate for pups and bigger dogs. It will come with a gate so you no longer have to climb over it. Good news for many.

It was way overdue but somehow our $$ tend to go to the dogs, the vets, bills and supplies. hahahaha You notice who is first in that equation.

If I do not get to photos, at least you have the beautiful Roxie to look at. I know not enough but I am only 1 person. I do try.

In 5 days Nathan is at the show during the day in Lindsay for 3 days. So, on Friday I am doing a lot of washing and getting him ready - 6 baths with visitors. He packs the car. So if we have a lull that day, please understand. It's only Valentine's Day. :-)

Maybe I will let Nathan put it all away on Monday. He would but I may not be able to find things if he did.

Just Photos

Yes, they can find sticks THROUGH the snow.

Some days I wonder why I groom as they jump in and out of the snow like crazy dawgs. I just love it!

I took these photos after Brie and Colby departed. I was doing baths so I didn't get to click till after Shady was done.

Brie almost caught a rabbit last night.

Cooper is playing with Cali today doing tug and he is letting her win. Kona can find sticks under the snow. Who knew?

Its been a truly fun day - just dawgs and humans are tired.

Today's Update

Today I get to wash Nora, Shady, Brie and Colby as they depart. They were here for the weekend and Alene went on holiday the first time in years - hooray!!! I hope it was a huge amount of sun and fun!

So updates may be later. I hope Nathan takes photos while I am washing. Gracie comes just for overnight and no one gets the crew going like Grace. I call her crazy Grace as she is so hyper fun. I swear she has a havanese body but a Jack Russell infused energy. She's not from us but she goes to our same training classes. She adds an element of crazy play and when one gets tired she just moves on to the next dog.

Logie also gets to come to see his gal pal, Panda. They will be excited. One thing I have learned is when the mix is tight the relationship unfolds slowly and you are left with 2 dogs that are so truly bonded. They do love each other. Logie and Panda jump around as if they just won the gold in Olympics when they see each other. It's a riot!

I have to say that it turned out to be a busy weekend but this mix is outstanding. Everyone plays so well together. As the dogs get to know each other from a variety of visits they become completely relaxed as if its old friends seeing each other again.

On Valentine's Day I have 6 dogs to wash - 4 of my own as 4 are going to the show Saturday/Sunday and Monday and then get washed each day - yikes. Happy Valentine's Day to me. So Nathan if you are reading this the 12th would be good to celebrate Valentine's Day. Yeah, an in your face hint!

I am also getting rid of phlegm and so is Dennis so wondering if I should train Nathan to do show coats? 

Tuesday we go to the girls to the vet for an xray. Roxie is going in too as I need to know why she is still in false pregnancy mode.

Dennis must be bummed as he refuses to set up the xpens for the gals. He did clean and sterilize everything. He said please wait till after the xray. It's quiet without the pups but I hear they are all doing well.

Belly Blogs Updated

Just added a photo of a belly shot of Panda and Spice on their blog. Check it out. Spice was brushed but she rolled two seconds before. Panda didn't. It is what it is. :-) Look at bellies and forget about the rest.

Photos Added

Just had to post this as this was so comical. Colby is playing with Bailey and Shady is standing up with a look of oh my I am standing up so long.

What I did notice (poor quality photos in kitchen with so much action - too cold outside) that Cooper likes the smaller set. Maybe it was just today but Nora, Leti and Bailey was his focus. Brie loves the puppy. Kona sniffed Bella up but didn't play with her but so did Wasabi and Risa who wanted to nap. I think Kona did too. They played hard before I took the camera out with Nathan mumbling where is my camera - where is my lens. We share a lens that I adore so its interesting at times.

Another cold day.... Tired of cold days as the dogs play and then have to come right in but we do it many times a day so they get the fresh air and room to run too.

Well this is the more later. I have a dog to wash, 4 tomorrow so updates may not be my usual but here are some photos. Some blurry as Nathan clicked, didn't pay attention to settings and we had fast movement but that just means they were having fun.

The Coops and Bailey were playing up a storm but Cooper was playing with all. Mr. Coops laid on my body last night watching tv. I wanted to think it was me and initially it was then Adele saddled up o me and all he did was stare at her as if I was just this thing he was laying on.

Colby is a huge, huge play monkey these days. I remember the first time he came he was rather nervous and not so sociable but watch out Colby. That is no longer true. Each visit we get to see the inner you. :-)

Cooper also really likes Nora. He will play and play with her. This is such a great group as everyone is mighty comfie with each other. Brie, Colby, Nora and Shady depart tomorrow. Bailey went home with his sister.

Brie really liked Bella.

Nora was trying to figure out what Adele was doing with Bella.

Ms. Panda gets to see her Logie tomorrow. She will be glad to see him.

Kona really has embraced this snow stuff and cold.

Jazmyn is mighty comfie but quiet. She has always been like this but she has really decided she rather loves the Adele. Are you wearing a new perfume, Adele?

I can't believe the black coming in Brie's coat. She was chasing after Nora and Nora was loving it!
