Picks

Here they are in order of birth. She loved them all. The last one she thought was going to be striking. She loved the waves, the colour bleeding through. Each of us are attracted to different dogs. Personality must be our guide. You live with personalities.

Please get your picks in. I am posting 1 picture of each dog, as requested.

Let me tell you about things I see that you may not as I spend the most time with them and when the vet arrived, the personalities came spilling out. With Sage crew they are all quieter and even level personalities with 1st born being the most - I am here personality. First born is more dominant. None are over the top. They are on the quieter to medium end.

I am posting the gallery with each puppy seeing the vet. The 4 Sage pups are first and in birth order. The same with the Misty. I will separate the gallery into Sage vet visit and then will do the same for Misty's crew.

No issues with any and she sure she looked. LOL That is why we have her in to check.

8 Week Visit 2nd Day

Here is the gallery.

I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. The pups were in their element truly enjoying themselves. No one was tired till they were tired. I think the pups start departing in what 10 or 11 days and I have nothing done. Oh my but we will get there. Hoping Spirit cooperates but we will figure out how to do it if she doesn't.

I know it seemed like a long wait for you but I can't believe they have reached this stage already.

Each puppy, to me is like a tiny miracle that we are a part of from when we feel their first kick to when they depart and hopefully we will all stay connected to watch all their milestones. It is a wonderful journey - well it is to me.

The pups were ready for a nap so they were quasi subdued. Not bad but not full if energy. We will see how they are this afternoon.

Videos will be found here shortly.

How Did It Go?

Here is the gallery.

This is the 1st and last time I do it this way. LOL

Baths - no problem. Crate with a blow dryer over them - well they were not imptressed and they let us know vocally. I think I need to do the crate thing more often. They so wanted to run around after they saw the 1st puppy that was dried running back and forth free as if to tease the rest. Do you want to know who it was? It was the cheeky little one. I can't blame him. That boy has cheedky personality.

They ran around for an hours or so. Nathan did nails and well they dried. Tomorrow they have visitors.

7 Weeks 6 Days

The pups have baths tomorrow. We are doing it different as simply I do not have enough time. So, multiple pups in the tub, shampoo, condition and rinse then into a crate while blow dryers dry them as I do more pups till all are washed. Then I will take the 1st, finish drying and then take a finished photo. They will have the traditional way when they depart with wet and dry photos.

This way it is not such a long day for them and for me.

Pups had a blast today. Check out the videos.

7 Weeks 5 Days

Coco loved playing with the pups and so did another Coco. LOL

Here is the gallery.

The littlest boy now weighs the same as the littles Misty gal. So funny. I need to weigh the rest but I have been so completely busy.

Pups had a blast today thanks to the 2 Cocos.

7 Weeks 4 Days Old

Moms playing with their pups are the best. Sage's pups are starting to get there is no milk.

Check out the videos.

Today the littlest took a leap off the chair and in top of a Misty puppu. The Misty puppy was stratled and when he realized what happened they rolled and played fir quite some time.

I can't believe in 3 days they are getting baths.

If you are in the market and want excellent beds and even car beds that go through the safety belts - pricey as they may be - Dearmint has the very best. I do not get a single thing from them but their beds last a VERY long time and the dogs really love them.

Also, when buying your Sherpa get a large size not the medium. If you get another brand, make sure it won't collapse on the puppy. There are some on Amazon that do.

We furnish you with food, shampoo, treats, a bowl for the car, poo bags, a toy and a blanket that will have mom's smell on it.

It is less than 3 weeks when the 1st departs. How did that happen?

7 Weeks 3 Days Old

Oh the play is so much fun at this stage. You really see how fun they are.

Here is the gallery.

Moms jump on the beds and well the pups jump right up to them. Being small does not mean you are not capable or agile. These pups are!

As soon as I finish the blog, they will be running the halls again.

Come Friday baths again. We will be showing you the dry photos but the rest will be done the quicker way. Then when they depart, they will have both wet and dry photos.

7 Weeks 2 Days Old

The pups are growing. The littlest boy is now the littlest again as Misty's gal surpassed him yet again. They go back and forth. The littlest now weighs 2lb 7-3/8oz. He needs to be 2lb 8 oz to get his shots. He will be over that by the 27th. Bravo, little one. Why is he small? He is meant to be small. Sage tends to have small and mid sized pups. The littlest is the most wonderful snuggler.

Maybe tomorrow I will weigh a couple of others and post.

Be sure to check out the videos. I am uploading them shortly.

1st Outdoors and Snow

Here is the gallery.

Not much snow. The crew here wanted to wait but that would have meant me missing the moment as I have to groom till evening. So, they said do what you want and well so we had a snow day and 1st outdoors. I am ever so glad. I can't fathom missing this moment.

A few said lets stay at the bag as its too cold but after they were distributed, they realized this may be fun despite it being wet and cold.

They embraced it well!

Now off to groom. The rest of the blogs will be later...
