5 Weeks 4 Days

As this crew edges up on 6 weeks, they are the small but mighty ones. I must laugh. By visit time, they will be 6 weeks old.

Sometimes the littlest one is on bottom with a Misty puppy. It's not aggressive and he seems to be enjoying it but I always keep my eye on that stuff. He goes back for more time and time again.

They go through the tunnels running top speed now. They make me laugh.

Moms are down to 3 feedings - soon will be 2 and then none. They have teeth as you will see and we are no longer softening their food. Teeth seem to bother the moms. I wonder why - ouch.

This crew - all 11 no one demanding - just plain fun so far!

5 Weeks 3 Days

Hey look this toy is bigger than me. It won't be for long. We are all eating well.

It's amazing what we think we can drag around. 

They now have the ramp out and the hanging toy assembly. As they get older, we start taking out more and more toys. There are learning skills we are working on and the operative word is FUN!

5 Weeks 2 Days Old

I bought a mini tripod that I can put my phone in so I can be handsfree and take video. It even comes with a remote. I didn't have high hopes for it being under 40 dollars but I tested it without the pups and it works well. Now I can play with pups, take photos and move the tripod around, if necessary but it will free me up to spend time doing what I love the best - playing with pups.

The pups are such fun and they are now heading into the week of having visitors so they will have baths, photos etc. It's a lot of work but the end result is great. On the 27th of December they get their 8 week checkup and she will be coming to the house. They are a month away from departing and it will happen too soon for me but not for you, I imagine.

Changing

This is the littlest boy. As you can see, he has colour bleeding through. He originanally looked all black.Not anymore. They go through so many changes inside and out. 

I am going to upload the videos shortly. I started this morning and didn't get back to it. I must as I have mugs to wrap. LOL I feell like I am juggling. 

the pups do the silliest things these days. They are truly fun to watch.

5 Weeks Old Today

Can you believe they are 5 weeks today? We took out the slide and up the stairs they went and they slid down and seemed to really enjoy it. What a great bunch.

The pups have been upstairs several times today. They played with Rebel, Nami and Coco today.

4 Weeks 6 Days

The smaller guys will be 3 of the Sage crew and the larger is the cream, black and brown boy though he will not be big. The gal will be small from Misty. The black and white spotted of Misty's will be smaller but not as small as the gal. The rest average size with no one being oversized. You really examine at this age and feel the bones, view the features and the size of the paws to give you an idea. 

The videos will be up soon. I am not going to take photos and videos later today as I want to have some downtime. Lately, I am working straight till bed.

4 Weeks 5 Days

The littlest one is no longer the littlest one. Imagine that. The Misty gal is now.

The pups have had 3 play sessions upstairs with a couple of the older ones. We tried Jersey but she wasn't sure what to think of them. They are young.

Pups are climbing, running and having a great time. Their personalities are starting to truly unfold.

4 weeks 4 Days Old

The pups had their 1st upstairs hall experience. They are wonderful pups. they just embrace the fun of it all.

This is a fun bunch. I try to get video by placing either my phone or ipad on a stand and place in on the fllor so you can see them from that angle. Well, this bunch knocks it over every chance they can get. Oh my... the fun of it!

4 Weeks 3 Days

The pups had softened Fromms kibble and ate it well whole. No issue. They only had 2 mom feedings today and will have a 3rd tonight before bed. 

The videos are here.  I have a few more to put up after the blogs are done. I can't believe it is 830pm already. With 3 play sessions with the pups, it adds to the day plus groomings. The pups are staying out longer and longer before they get tired. They seem to adapt easily so far.

4 Weeks 2 Days First Upstairs

I started, Dennis finished getting the room upstairs ready for the pups to go upstairs without moms.

How did they do? They were wonderful. They even used the pad. Of course they didn't sleep through the night. They are too young but they did settle in. They played and no cries.They were excited to see the moms in the morning. They were first to eat and then the adults ate. Dennis slept in till 830 but stayed up late last night setting up the pen, washing floors etc

Many times they fuss till they adjust but this crew was more than fine.

Now the moms slept with me and all the gals and Nathan slept in the guestroom as we have gals in heat - almost done but this is what we do when they are. the moms kept me up most of the night. they wanted to see the babies. I hope tonight is better or I may be a walking washing zombie.
