Rain and Dry and Humid

It rained. It got humid and then the sun came out.

Now it is so humid that the pups are playing upstairs.

I hardly took any videos. The daughter is calling to talk things over about kids. You know how that goes so it seems it comes at the time we are doing pups. So - sorry.

I will try to take lots tomorrow.

Afternoon Visit

The moms were great. They said hello to everyone and we brought Rebel out who is a little shy - not terribly but she is a covid baby. She is now in class for the 1st time (they just opened classes) and we will get her exposed as if she is a 12 week old vs months old. No matter how hard you tried with exposures without covid vaccinations it is not doable or wasn't. Thankfully more opportunities has arrived as people get their 1st and 2nd shots allowing us to have more freedom and making sure we expose our dogs as we normally do. We had no one visit and that takes a toll. I bring that up as it is very important to get into class and out and about with your dogs. Practice safe exposures but expose.

The pups actually did terrific considering other than us that they have not had any exposures to humans. So, bravo little ones and it's never too late to play catch up but much easier when you can do it early on.

It was a fun visit. I must say all humans were wonderful too. LOL

Bath Photos

Here is the sable and cream gal. Everyone was good in teh bath and didn't really care about the dryer in a negative way. They just let that wind whip around and at them without a complaint.

This gal is a character in and out of the bath. So there with that tongue sticking out.

If you want to laugh and be amazed at how agile a puppy can be - well she is it. She thought the blow dryer was a wonderous thing. You have to look at her bath photos. She was hysterical.

Here's looking at you kid. What an expression and she has all that colour bleeding through. She kept giving me these looks. It was a riot!

Maui Fun With Pups

Maui at first thought the pups were gremlins but soom thought hey this is fun. I can imagine how they feel with 7 puppies chasing them.

He had a blast and so did the pups. They play and play and truly enjoy themselves.

Such Faces

Here is today's gallery.

The pups are truly fun beings. They play. They climb, they snuggle and they entertain each other. It is a joy to watch them. In 2 days they will have their 2nd bath but a usual one - 1 by 1 with photos to get ready for their visit on Saturday. They do not need a bath as they are already clean but you need the experience.

I feel bad due to covid we couldn't have these visits but happy we now can. Such mixed emotions.

The pups didn't mind the sprinkles in the least. It was a good exposure.

It was muggy but they manage to have great fun.

Wet and Wild

I decided the dogs needed a bath so I did 7 at a time - yep 7. I have a big tub and they are little. It was a quick one. Spray the shampoo on them and rinse them off. No photos. I did this before Ford made his announcement - of course. I tend to have that sort of timing.

There were a couple that thought the bubbles and water was a fun thing. No one complained but a couple played. I washed. Dennis dried with a towel and then out they went till they were dry.

Mighty Thirsty

I tell you it was hot one so we could only go out early this morning and now they are back out and it's still a feel like 93f. Dennis is going to try them and see how they do under the gazebo with ice water. He may be back in quickly to play inside. We shall see.

Hot Heat

Here comes that toy again and now a new set of pups are playing with it and getting their heads lost in it.

We were outside - well they were. I was grooming. Nathan and Dennis took photps and videos. I am grooming like that tomorrow. Had planned to go crazy today and have a pal over to swim but noe tomorrow is full. I so hope that means I can eeek out sometime with the pups.

Upstairs to Sleep

The pups were amazing ipstairs. You can watch on the video. No moms. Yes, we played but no cries. We survived and the human mom watched them closely.
