We ate last night food and we did so with gusto. The Spirit crew needed a little coaxing as they are a full week younger but Dennis told me next feeding during the night, they were doing really well.

At this age you can tell the difference of 1 week but in a couple of weeks you won't be able to so much.

I am putting 1 gallery for both sets of pups today. Tomorrow, barring no rain, we will do an outside one and an inside one. I am trying to give it all to you but reduce the creation of this or that.
As you can see Nathan had a lap full of pups.

This gal of Sage's had a walk about today. The goal is to have each one have the exposure then to take them all out together.
Can't wait till we can put them together. Soon...
Each day we will take another littermate for a walk about. As you can see, this one was curious.
Soon we will have to take them outside.
They are at the stage where they get excited to see you. It makes your heart swell.
Soon this crew will try food. I may wait a half of a week and feed both crews at the same time. We shall see. It's strange only having the 2 crew. Less work but less fun but soon this crew will be running around and we will be laughing on the floor with them.

The crew has a new area and now they can see Spirit's pups. This is their first stage at getting merged.
We decided not to put the couch back in this room yet to give us more space. The moms are loving the room.
Pups didn't make a peep. They just spread out. I wonder when they are going to start looking at each other through the bars.

We are introducing them to the pad. We start early so they get used to it. This way when the weather is bad or you are travelling, you have an alternative.

Sorry I am so late but I must rush as I have a dog to groom - yes TONIGHT.
Now the pups climb right into bed with momma Sage.
They are really quite fun now. They are curious and mobile.

The pups were complaining as this room got into the high 80s as I couldn't open the window due to the younger set. When the younger set reaches 3 weeks their bodies regulate. These guys already reached that milestone.
I have a plan on Wednesday or Thursday depending on my energy level after the last of the pups depart. We will be dividing the xpen that the older set is in now so both sets of pups can stare at each other and get used to each other. I will gain more room in here and we set them on a path of getting familiar with each other. We shall see how that goes.
Oh to be so comfortable that you can sleep like this. Life is a joy!
Pups are really starting to play and find toys fascinating. By next Wednesday or Thursday they will be looking at each other - the 2 litters and getting used to each other before they are merged.
