Puppy Fun

This crew really knows How to have fun! Here is today's gallery.

We played upstairs and out in the hall. We are eating well. I need to try to weigh them on the big scale as they won't stand on the small one. They are just too much of a moving target that they make teh scale number bounces.

We have a short blog tonight as we have class.

Be sure to watch the videos. I had fun with the pups.

They Are Fun

We now have an appointment date for our vet visit. I was whistling - or trying to and they were running to my whistle. How fun.

Here is the gallery.

Pups are patient souls. They wait in the morning without a word until they hear us get up. One night Dennis had a short play session from them and at 4am they started letting us know it was time to get up. We did not go to them and they eventually stopped. It has not happened since. They key is to play before bedtime expelling energy and sleep they will.

The pups are now eating semi solid food now. What that means is it is only partially softened. They are doing fine.

Be sure to check out the videos.

Three more days and they get their first bath. Will be fun to see how they do.

Quite Adjusted

The dogs were silly crazy today. I tried taking videos and all they kept doing is knocking the ipad over, jumping at me so they were too close to take a video.

Here is the gallery.

But we had fun. I had fun. the pups are truly a grand crew.

Check out the videos. I didn't take too many but I am still uploading.

PS: They did figure out the treat puzzle and got every single one out. No issues with bowels with their new introduction to 2 treats yesterday.

Firsts

Leti's crew had their first sleep upstairs and did really well. No issue and didn't make a peep till they heard us get up. I checked on them via the camera and ipad and leti watched them on the ipad and nuzzled me a few times. It was a riot. Didn't get much sleep but who does on firsts?

The pups also had their first snow experience outside. Be sure to check out the video.

Here is the gallery from outdoors. We were only out for a short bit till they started lifting their paws but they really did well.

Then we headed upstairs to play. Here is the gallery. It was warmer and the pups are now easily going up thewrong way on the slide.

The pups are adjusting to every new thing. It's wonderful.

We did put a find a treat toy in the xpen and only one found the treat. Not sure they have figured out how to turn it. Instead they want to walk on it. You can watch on the video. See the rest of the videos here.

On Saturday they get their first bath and on Sunday they get a visit by the families.

We Moved

Well, after Cara departed, Willow hung out with us for a bit while the humans did dinner and then she went out to hang out with the big guys. We are now in the larger pen and our pen has been disaasembled. We were excited until we realized this was it so we fussed for a bit. How did the humans handle it? They ignored us and checked on us with the cameras. You never pick up a fussing pup as you will validate that fussing gets you picked up. So, patience was had by those humans but now we are sleeping.

Here is a gallery of just the Leti pups in their old pen.

Tonight we will have yet another change. We will head upstairs to sleep there and Willow will go to bed with the humans and the adult dogs. Lucky her.

Why do the humans do this? They are trying to make us more independent. They tell us everything they do is to help us be all we are meant to be.

This is the gallery of the 2 crew (Leti and Jeannie) upstairs before Cara departed.

All these changes are good. It helps their coping skills to kick in.

I am still uploading videos. You will be able to see them here.

Can't wait to see how they do upstairs tonight for sleeping. They have been without mom or humans at night for a few days now so I suspect they will adjust just fine.

Such a Crew

I am so in awe with this crew. They are fun, fun, fun!

Here is today's gallery. It includes Willow and Cara. Yes, they are playing well together now. Now we know Willow will be able to play with the younger set after Cara departs.

This crew is eating well. They are drinking well and is ready to go upstairs tomorrow night. they are alone now without mom but it is good conditioning to have them sleep in a different spot. This gets them used to changes. hope the weather warms up so we can get them outdoors.

Be sure to check out the videos.

Good Attempting

We are rather good at attempting and perfecting our skills. We go up and down the ramps, teh slide with ease these days. Sometimes we think we are invincible.

Here is the gallery of just us.

We are upstairs playing right now with the Jeannie duo and with Raven. Raven is amazing with all the pups. The Jeannie crew dumbs down their play better and better each play session. Realize there is 5 weeks difference.

Here is a gallery of Jeannies's gal and Leti's crew.

I am amazed at how agile they are.

Be sure to check out the videos.

Playing With Mom

These pups are too young to go wading in the slush outside so they had a play session upstairs.

See the gallery.

Last night the pups did not have Dennis or Leti. It was just them. I looked many times and they slept most of the night. They were excited to see their mom in the morning.

Check out the videos.

They have accomplished another milestone. On the 14th when Jeannie's pup departs the crew will sleep upstairs for the 1st time. I suspect they will be more than fine. I am impressed with how even keel this crew is.

I give up on Leti. She is so hands on that no matter how much I comb her out they break her hair to a million pieces and make her look so disheveled but hair grows back and the time she invests in them is worth everything. She just adores them!

Changes

The Leti pups were without their mom last night. Leti came to sleep with me. How did they do?

Leti was constantly walking up my body as if to say - okay time for downstairs. She will do better tonight. The pups slept till 6am. Wow.

Here is the gallery.

They are eating softened food that I take a cleaver and splice in half. Then we add chicken and they seem to be doing really well with it. Bonus mom does not try to steal it so she can hang out with them like she truly loves to do.

The pups today, when Bailey was departing climbed out of the pen and was crying. So, off I went to check. i could have looked on my ipad but i went to look. There was a pup trying to get back in. What a riot!

These are fascinating pups.

Today I had my ipad on the floor and one tapped their nose on it and sudden;t music came on loud and the pup jumped back. So I held her. Placed her close to touch the ipad and then shut off the music. I have to say, I even jumped.

Be sure to check out the videos. I am still uploading.
