We are hoping that after the pups have departed that the weather is warm and we can have a havanese swim fun day of our dogs and the visitors. Let's see what mother nature brings.

No one went swimming today except Sage and she deserved it after the pups departed.

They had a fun chase the squirrel session. No, I don't encourage it but all it takes is 1 and off they go. Brewer always takes a short cut to get in the front and Harlow play bows with it as if she wants the squirrel to play with her. It is a riot.

It has been a day - and a good one!

Rain, Cool Then Heat

Bailey is over for the day till tonight for a freshen up and play date. She had a blast with the younger set and the older set. When she was out of the xpen, she had a grean time teasing the younger crew. She so enjoyed herself.

Kalley was also over and those 2 enjoyed themselves. Kalley only had a short time after groom here but she played her heart out while she did.

Tenshi took over the bed in the tv room from Ella. You should have seen the expression on Ella's face. But she let her.

As we have pups going home and grooming - well life is in siesta mode on the blogs. Hope you do not mind. I will have no excuse when this is the only blog I am updating. :-)

Long Day But Soon Bed

It's been a long day. I had 7 dogs to groom and 2 pups. As soon as I am done this blog I will be cleaning up water dishes and prepping for tomottow then crawling into bed.

The dogs had fun and Roxie our oldest gal here seems to adore these pups.

Tenshi was caught kissing them between the xpen. It's such a riot how these pups get the others to engage.

Archie, Buddy and Ticker arrive and Bailey comes for a play day. It's going to be a busy day. The dogs will have lots of fun!

Tomorrow is Canada's day and Nathan's brother Earl's birthday.

Visit and Rain and Mugginess

This is Leti's human mom. Leti is in her right hand and Spirit's baby is in their left. It was good to see Leti and her family. Thank you for the truffles and wine - yum!

It rained and thundered today even during this visit but we made the most of it and then I am blogging.

It was great to hear Let's human mom had her last cancer treatment. Bravo. Such a long journey with Leti by your side. I am ever so glad she was there to give you comfort.

Short blog tonight for a variety of reasons.

Daisy and Marci depart tomorrow. The 1st 2 pups to depart on Thursday get baths tomorrow. I also have many to groom. It will be a busy week but a very fun one for 7 families.

Let the Heat Begin Ouch

Hahahaha I am in the air conditioning. Havanese are so smart. It was so hot that I had to repeatedly water down the deck and pavers around the pool. They were lifting their paws and that is the 1st indication that it is too hot to walk.

Daisy was under the tree rolling on her back every which way. Oh boy does she need a bath. But she had fun. You will see her in the gallery.

As we had the pups outside this afternoon, I took Sage and Spirit into the pool and left them soaken wet. No towels.

Ellie had a blast with the pups. I thought initially she wanted to come out but no she wanted to play. Willow didn't want to swim but she so wante to play indoors  as you can see. Big smiles...

It was so hot that they all preferred the air conditioning. I am thankful ours is working and no more freon leak where the 1st hot day it would ice over and die. That hapened for a few years in a row so we held our breath that last year's repair worked and it has so far... Pups are happy in the cool too. For me it's the pool or indoors. Tomorrow hot again... Maybe good as I will get a quick dip in but I have so much to get done.

Sorry we are shortening all blogs as we had a busy day with 2 visits, grooming so dogs can go home plus Nathan's computer was not working and he was cringing as he had puppy selections coming in and no way to access them. He now has access and if you can believe we are still missing one. We can't finish without it. So please...

Dogs had fun. Some went home. Some arrived. Tomorrow is a crazy grooming day but guess what... We will try to do better with galleries, blogs and videos. :-)

After Grooming

Stay Tuned - won't get to this blog till after I finish grooming. Well just finished grooming. Harlow just departed. Ty departed earlier. Silly and Simon are having a great time. Tia and Benjamin are here. This is Benjamin and he is full of beans. Tia keeps a close watch on him. LOL

This is a no gallery night. I have to get up and start grooming with coffee in hand at 7am as we have puppy visits and we have dogs departing. That's when I have time.

Now about those videos... I do not edit my videos. I simply have no time but sometimes Nathan says a swear and I do delete that whole video as we are aware children may be watching. Two days ago he tripped over the xpen and he went F%$# while i was videoing the pups. Go figure and it was a good video.. No matter how good that video is - gone. Otherwise what you see is what is going on.

Rain and Teeth Cleaning

We had 12 dogs here to get their teeth clean. Meadow was just here for a groom. To say they did a great job is an understatement. Fresh breath too.

It has been raining way too much so we clicked when it wasn't and well I groomed all day too. It was a crazy day truly. So short blogs are necessary.

We also had an overnight visitor that is not a havanese. He's in the galery. He is a lovely boy! Plus Bailey the havanese pup was here but she's in the puppy gallery.

Swim and Dental

We had a cancellation for dental cleaning tomorrow. If interested, let is know at darlah@potechin.com Drop off is early morning and pick up later in day. I can tell you the job they did on Raven was amazing. It was well worth the $$ but I need to know by 9am tomorrow.

Ty and Harlow went swimming today and they wanted to. Daisy looked at us cross-eyed. I will spare you, Daisy. LOL

We have a Yorkie who is visiting is called George. He is doing really well. He has never been away from his home so we didn't know what to expect but you know we always make them feel comfie and loved. He is a sweetheart.

Busy day today but a fun one!

Issues Uploading

I am having issues uploading photos and galleries. I apologize so this will just be text with a photo of Ty.

Tomorrow warmth arrives again and Ty and the pups will swim tomorrow. I love swimming days and well walking around with slippers and a sweatshirt is ridiculous at the end of June. I hope September is a warm one.

The dogs love this coolish weather. The inbetween seems to suit them just fine.

Nathan continues to maintain the pool and he is doing an amazing job at it - him and his pool cleaning machine. I used to be the pool person and one day he took it away and I went ahhh one less thing.

Nathan went to his cardiologist. and no more visits till December. That suits him fine and me too.

It's already after 730 and I have this idea to blanket myself with dogs and watch tv. Can I get away with it? Tomorrow through next wee or so is a busy one so you must have those moments that mean a great deal to you and the dogs. We have our priorities. LOL

Visiting Fun

This is Radar, Stone's brother and littermate. He came to play with his Patches. We have not seen them in a long time - thanks to covid - so it was amazing to spend time with them today. Radar came in owning the place. Patches had some hesitancy as to where am I for a few minutes and then it clicked and she was so excited too. It was like - oh yeah this place. It was so nice!

Dennis hardly got any photos and well I must admit I wanted to see and play with Patches and Radar. It's really been a long time.

Still he is having fun and so is Harlow and Brewski.

Me, I am in long pants, a jacket and missing swimming but hopefully we can get the pups swimming before the family visit. Oh Mother Nature do you hear me now?

Busy Times

Here is the gallery.

Tomorrow we have a vet visit for the pups so it will be busy tomorow. Friday we have the cleaning teeth come to our house folks so that will be an all day event. Saturday we have puppy visits. Sunday I have 5 dogs departing. That's only half of it so we are busy - well I am busy. 

Dogs had a blast. We had a downpour just when I was going to swim when I finished grooming. Nathan is with Rebel for class. I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch dinner. I am blogging at almost 8pm.

The dogs are literally waiting for Nathan for tv time. Coco is about to depart. I need to do another 2 blogs. LOL

What a Happy Day

This was Archie after he got spruced up. He was playing with Dennis and having a blast.

Archie is now home and so is Coco and Diamind gal. It was a fun day. Nathan got his nap in. It was a pool day. I went out for 20 minutes and got a burn.

We had terrible food truck food. Oh well.

Dogs enjoyed inside and outside.

Hope your farger's day was a grand one. Pups, dogs, human kids - any and all makes you a dad and the best part is unconditional love. Hope it was a great one.

Nice Full House

We celebrated Father's Day today vs tomorrow as it's the daughter's birthday. I have a lot of grooming and well - it all made sense. Nathan requested smiked meat sandwich for his meal and I had a veal sandwich that was sort of crunchy. Okay, it really wasn't good but it was not my day. I am glad Nathan's was great.

We have a fun bunch of dogs gere - pups too. Coco and Diamond are making it extra fun. We have Ty, Daisy, Harlow, Archie and Diamond hanging out and they are truly having a great time. Archie, Diamond and Coco depart tommorrow.

It's a busy week as we have Nathan's doctor, the vet, baths for the pups and another visit. On Tuesday we get to see Radar and Patches. It has been so long so we are so excited. They are just coming for the day but we are excited.On Friday the people are coming for teeth cleaning. Friday with groomings, dental cleanings and puppy baths will be crazy but then I rest watching everyone with the pups on Saturday.

No one swam today but Nathan got in and out of his swimsuit a few times but it was just bordering warm. The dogs kept looking - time yet? No, I am afraid it needs to be warmer.

Rain, Sun Make Up Your Mind!

Not much to report today due to the weather and well Dennis that keeps hurting his hand over and over.

Dogs refused to go out in the rain. When the rain stopped they thought why not. LOL Nathan also stays outside other than his nap. Why not...

Not Warm Enough

Sky says when are these slouches going to take me swimming. Let's get the hot weather first. Mother Nature is - well off her meds or something. We want to get the pups in too, Sky - Why!

I proceeded to brush everyone out though Nathan reminded me I forgot Ella. So funny to point that out. In the gallery they look like I did nothing though Sky doesn't look so bad.

Nathan was stuck at the hospital for the day waiting for a surgeon to get out of surgery. He said yep looks like you have a suture in there but let's wait a week or 2 as opening up may make it worse. It's this little thing.

When he got back he napped and the dogs really wanted to swim, I get that.

Sherry was here for a bit and well that makes me happy to have and outside social. She had to get her sewing machine fixed and I am an inbetween spot. Murphy got to hang out with her sister Saffron.

Tomorrow Leo departs. Archie and Coco comes till Sunday. Hope the weather warms up for Father's Day.

Nathan keeps stealing every ripe strawberry. He's not sharing with Jeannie.

Cool Times

We are starting to see dogs we have not seen in a long time. It feels like normalcy is creeping in.

Coco the maltese was here (out of her mind happy to be here) and so was Bailey and Logan and Panda for the day. We also have Leo for a couple of more days and Ms Daisy and Harlow. Both Bailey and Coco played with the pups and you will seed that in the videos and the gallery on Sage's blog.

The dogs sure like this cooler weather. Me, not so much but I groomed all day. I get to see Sherry and Murphy tomorrow and well I always enjoy that!

I washed and cut Bailey and she went out and rolled in the mud today as Dennis had watered. He won't do that again but honestly I just laughed and we washed her again much to her chagrin. I bet she remembers rolling in mud equals 2 baths. Time will tell.

It was a fun day despite a long work day. Sometimes you just have to laugh about it.

Nathan goes to his doctor tomorrow so they can lance a graft site as it is weeping. He only waited 4 months. LOL Has it been that long? I think so. Time just goes so fast - too fast.

Hope all of you are enjoying the cool. May Father's day be a hot one.

Messy Day

We hung out. We chilled and to be honest I didn't feel like much else so it is good to have a partial day off.

Rain and Must See Video

This is Rebel after she came iin from the rain. Tonight she is in class all nicely brushed and was excited to go to class. Last week she didn't know where she was going.

The dogs sat with me under the gazebo and I took a puppy or 2 out to do some conditioning to loud noise and it was very loud. Iff and on it rained.

Today we got a video from Nami's sister's home - a Stormy pup and to me it is a must see video!
