This is Marcie after she had a bath and a bit of a shape up. Is she adorable or what? I just love her personality too!
Sage and Marcie are playing themselves silly. It's a riot to watch. See a video Dennis took.
She goes home tonight but till then we are having fun!
Nathan, you said that Ines is going to own him. So far it is the other way around. She is great and he is delicious.
Sage was a brat but she is attempting to do things for treats. She is highly treat motivated. Mabel had the sit down perfectly. Charlie - she was doing everything. I must say Sage never had a lead on her till this class. Nathan does it on purpose. He likes the challenge. It drives me crazy.
Gillian also teased him the entire class and he has fun with her. Family dog you do a come one way, Puppy class another. hmmmm
At this time, she is the largest of the 3 but she eats and steals everyone's food, I would be shocked if she didn't gain and grow.
She yelled at us all the way there and back. She's also stuck her head through a hole created in the sherpa bag. Oh my. Don't worry - she will get there but not sure when.
It was obvious Charlie has been highly socialized. It is important to do so. We have taken Sage out here and there but she may survive this class after all and then on to Family Dog.
Mabel is gorgous and had the most perfect sit.
Here is a gallery of Mabel's new family.
It was a hot day. We had a cooling pad out on the deck and the pups took advantage of it. Sometimes Sage would steal the bulk of the pad but that's her personality. Mabel was polite.
Mabel drank out of her bowl. Sage tried to and did accomplish drinking out of my glass.
Here is a gallery before Mabel departed.
We are going to miss the antics of the duo.
Be sure to check out the videos.
Sage will sleep with us tonight in our bed. We will leave the xpen up and put up another and take out a couch in preparation for Cinnamon and Ella.
Tomorrow we will put our outdoor couch, our chairs and set up the 2nd deck not as a play area but rather a dog, human area till we have pups playing outdoors again.
Sage won't be alone too long as Marcie will be coming for the day. How exciting is that?
As Mabel has had a number of baths, she is a pro at it. She has also gone swimming twice.
When you have 2 at the end they tend to rely on each other and get extra attached. I usually do not like to keep them longer as I think it is harder on the humans and the pups but they have been an immense pleasure. watching their antics are heart warming.
I can't believe that the last one - other than Sage will be gone tomorrow.
We will be having Sage out with the adults and we will be setting up 2 pens for Cinnamon and Ella. So, it begins.
Tomorrow morning the duo will have their last play before departing. Sage will be coming to bed with us tomorrow night and we will be updating you on how she does and we will also be adding photos from the other siblings.
This has been a fabulous litter. Safi seems to create outstanding pups.
The two pups went in but we didn't get Willow or Spirit in. Hardly anyone went in swimming. To be honest the water felt cold as we waited to put the heat on. That won't happen tomorrow.
The pups are now out and running with the adults and they are loving it. As you know Sage will have to do this when Mabel is gone so we thought we would start before she departed on Friday.
The pups are really agile and make sure you check out the videos to see them swimming and much more.
Tomorrow Mabel gets a bath before her departure on Friday. Then we will be down to just Sage.
She seems like she will fit in fine here. She seems to truly need the activity. She will be a handful. But the girls are learning their names.
It's interesting just having the two of them. Sage is still a troublemaker. She will miss Mable. It's the drawback of being just two for a bit.
Sage goes for her next set of shots on Monday when the moms to be has their xrays. She will also start classes on June 6th in Ajax. I may or may not be able to attatend. It depends on how the pups are doing and how many - lol.
Mabel is loving exploring. They are also starting to understand their names.
Mabel gets her bath on Thursday then she too will be departing on Friday. Then Sage will come to bed with us and we will set up this room for Ella and Cinnamon.
Mabel and Sage are doing well. We just have an issue with uploading due to internet issues. I will try to play catch up tomorrow. Do check out the videos.
This is Marcie's new family. See the family gallery. She really seemed to like her human brother - how nice. She's a truly amazing being. Oh this was quite the crew!
Check out the gallery. They played. They had a blast and then took a nap. We are hearing good things from everyone.
I truly can't believe we are down to 2.
It gets quieter and quieter as they depart.
Marcie had a bath before her departure tomorrow. She was rather great in the tub. She was amazing under the dryers.
Here is the gallery of her bath.
I can't believe she is departing tomorrow and we will be down to 2 pups remaining. So happy for them but gad I surely miss them. Each litter is unique.
She is so adorable and a personality plus.
She departs at noon tomorrow.
The siblings are already getting mighty quiet. That happens when departures occur.
Felix has departed with his new family. It seems so quiet here with just 3 and tomorrow it will be 2 till the 25th.
You can check out the videos as they seem to be going faster than the galleries for some reason.
Here is the play gallery before Felix and Ines departed.
I call Felix the small but mighty one. I can't wait to hear how Ines and Felix do together as they get to know each other.
Here is Ines and Felix taking a nap.
Bo made it home safe and sound to Montreal. What a long ride but seems to have survived.
She met her new sibling and all seems to be going well. I am glad she has already had some big dog exposures. :-)
Here is the gallery before Bo departed.
We miss her already!
I did manage to get some videos up. Check them out here.
Felix was amazing in the bath. I also washed Mabel and Sage. Mabel will be washed again next week for her departure on the 25th. Marcie will be washed tomorrow for Sunday's departure. So far the only one that put up a - I don't think so - was Sage and she finally went okay. Sage is going to be a challenge. She certainly has her own mind on everything. LOL
Felix is a small guy. He is the smallest in the crew but is a mighty one. He gives me snuggles and hugs. As he was the only boy we had a rather special relationship as I watched him put up with his sisters pulling his tail and mauling him till he finally said, I don't think so. When I hold him a certain way he snuggles right into my neck. What a lovee. You made it, little one. You may be small but you figured out how to walk away and when they are relentless, you learned to say ENOUGH. You are going to be okay. :-)
I can't believe 2 more tomorrow.
Bo was amazing in the bath. What eyes she has. She reminds me of pups her great grandmother had. There is no mistaking those eyes - Cinnamon has them too.
At 10 weeks this crew really are an amazing amount of fun and they are really agile. I found several in a room they didn't know finding the pad to use it. Bravo little ones. You are a smart crew.
Bo departs tomorrow. She will be the first to go tomorrow and has some serious travelling to do. She will be moving to Dollard-des-Ormeaux. She will arrive home soon after Felix gets home in the afternoon. We wish her safe travels. She will join others in the Montreal area. I hope they connect with this one.
Charlie is settling in nicely. She was a tad nervous in the car but that too shall pass. I am sure she didn't know where she was going. But once she got there, she was enjoying herself.
Charlie was amazing in the bath. This crew really adapted and relished the baths. Quite nice!
Here is a gallery of the 6. Tomorrow 2 more depart.
How was Charlie in the bath? I think she welcomed it as it was so hot today. She didn't mind any part of it.
She cleaned up quite nicely!
Here is a gallery of her bath.
Tomorrow Charlie departs. Tomorrow Bo and Felix get their baths. It begins.
The crew tomorrow morning will be a crew of 6 and then a crew of 5.
Today they had a blast. Despite the real heat in this house they were okay as I put cooling mats and they all piled on it. I laughed and it was cooler outside so we spent a LOT of time outdoors.
Here is a gallery of them playing outdoors.
They just came indoors from outdoors and they are now comfortable in this house. Soon they will be heading to bed. I get sad about them going home but happy for them and their journey. It is a crazy process.
Be sure to check out the videos. I am still uploading. It's been a day.
Pups are doing rather amazing with the stairs. They are running up and down like they are nothing now.
Pups rather enjoy Dimsum and Ash. Gray doesn't playing with the wee ones but likes the older pups. We rotate who plays with them so its not overwhelming but these 2 cry to be with them.
Tomorrow Charlie gets a bath and then Friday she departs.
Felix sure has more and more colour bleeding through.
It was raining all morning till early afternoon. Now the sun is shining and the pups have had an outside play session as well but I only have a gallery and videos from their upstairs play. It's a crazy week with lots of grooming.
Be sure to check out the videos.
Pups had a delightful time upstairs and outdoors and are now sleeping. They say sun the rest of teh week. We are hoping to have a gazebo up. they have not arrived yet. We need it as the air conditioning looks like it won't get fixed for approx 10 days.
