Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 2:24PM Do you think Earl looks like his brother, Nathan? They are now driving to their cottage in Perth. I am ever so glad he has Chiclet as he is used to playing each day. It will take time for the 2 boys to bond but I have no doubt they will.

I can put up a photo of Nathan here as then when he departs tomorrow, you can see if Nathan and his human daddy look like they are related. :-0 Plus they don't mind us having this memory.
Cori was great in the bath. It was bittersweet. Last bath - last moments and tomorrow he is off on his forever journey. We will miss him immensely.

Hi Darlah and Nathan,
Wow - I had a great week! Got my second shots on Wednesday and didn’t even flinch! Went to puppy school class 1 later that night and met the cutest puppy bulldog - tried to get her to play with me but she seemed too shy! Maybe next week! We had friends over for dinner one night and last night we went over to friends house and they had a dog named Corby - I followed him around all night and got to play with people, eat treats and then napped on the floor until it was time to go home. Today we had family visitors over and I played and played and they even took me for my very first walk around the block!! That was fun - I met 5 more people - they all think I’m so cute! Then I napped for 4 hours because boy am I knackered. But now.....well now I’m awake and raring to go!

Cooper doesn't usually play with the little pups but he couldn't get enough of them today and they love him! He played and played with them after he was groomed. He is feeling thinner, for sure.
It wasn't sunny today but it was dry and warm.
Everyone loved being outside.
As I type, Coops and the pups are snuggling. awwww

Misty and Corey do not mind the rain. Misty also does the stairs quite well. Corey too though he is more deliberate with her steps. They have been getting a lot of conditioning to combing and wet stuff outside.

I reduced the pen in this room to 1/4 the size. They will only use it for eating and soon - by Monday the whole pen will go and a couch will come back into this room. They can still eat in here but the pen will be removed. They are out all day with the adults now so a pen is not necessary.
They both came to bed with us. Corey stayed asleep all night long. Misty thought she would attempt to go up and down the bed all night long to coerce this one or that to play.
Corey thinks he is the boss over Charlie. So funny. It's not about size.
The duo goes up and down the outside stairs with ease.
They got to look at the opened pool for the first time today. It's rather dirty. We have the pool cleaner in doing it's job.
The weather is gorgeous and outside is desirable. Though Dennis is starting on cutting things - I don't want to know.

Charlie, a Raven pup is visiting and he's been playing with the older guys plus Corey and Misty.
The pups have been playing upstairs vs just outdoors as they are all getting mighty muddy. I am tired of it. Only so many washes you can do.
Let's hope for a dry and sunny day tomorrow.
Looking forward to my livingroom becoming a livingroom and the pups coming to bed with us.

We had rain exposure today. It went well. We are going to be persistent about this rain but had knows why. It only means more cleaning for me.
I had to wash Lexi and Marcie and I will have to wash them again tomorrow as they got to be mudpiles and they don't depart till tomorrow.
But teh wee pups didn't get muddy. Now that was joyous. Silver linings and all.

No outside today as its been really raining all day. It's supposed to do the same tomorrow.
Nathan has been doing something silly. He's been putting their food on the floor and they are eating it that way. Oh boy.... He knows better.

Ajax (Stormy pup) is heading home today. Misty and Corey has truly enjoyed having him here. He is truly a sensational puppy.

Misty has not been herself today. Too many leaves and sticks she is chewing outside. Got to control that. Interesting enough, Corey rarely picks up anything outside.

As the weather warms up, the pups are getting exposures outdoors. As I type, they are outside for the 3rd time today and had a play session upstairs. We are acquainting them to the riverstones, the paths and all the dogs, of course.
Corey knows his name well. Misty, she may know her name but sometimes listens, sometimes not. She is too busy with things to see and things to do.
The pups had chicken necks today and thought they died and went to heaven! This is the 1st time they had them.
Saffron is so delighted that she has 2 babies here. It is a riot how excited she is!
The pups are coming along. This is an important time frame to expose, expose at least once a day to something new. It can be as simple as the stairs, the paths, walking around the block with them in your arms.
Eating - sometimes Misty eats, sometimes Corey eats. The are not eating 1/4 cup each meal. If lucky they may be eating 1/3 a day but they are gaining. They are fine. As they grow, their intake will increase.

Ollie, and Ajax are Stormy pups. She loves having them here. As all 4 are playing together, it is hard to separate it into 2 blogs. So, as this is the blog I am updating these days, the 4 are found here.
As I type Saffron and 2 pups are running like hey upstairs and Ollie and Ajax, the 2 brothers are having a complete blast chasing each other. You will also find Ajax and Ollie in the main blog gallery as well.
As Ollie won't be picked up till 530, we need to keep him out of the kitchen or mom will see him as a wet rag. He sure loves the water. A swimmer, I bet!
I can't wait till we can test the pups in the pool.
The pups have had a really full day.
Corey has become more confident, stealing a toy from mom. He runs like crazy and hides with it. He's done it numerous times and Saffron really loves that he is. She's been after him to play like this. He is also no longer crying for attention. I continually pick him up when he is quiet for a snuggle here and there.
As we have the Easter/Passover visitors here, we are waiting till they depart to take the duo into bed. They seems to have settled in together upstairs or downstairs well.
By the way, Ajax runs up and downstairs without hesitation often leading the pack. He loves the fun we have upstairs!

Beni sure has some amazing colour coming. She has silver boots...
Just thought we would share. She is doing great and settled in well. Shes had soft poops the last couple days but has her vet appt tomorrow so will have it checked out. Yesterday she was a little quieter so I think she wasnt feeling 100% but she seems to be back to her playful sassy self this morning.

Meadow is doing great! Hitting the pad like a semi-pro! Already knows “look at me” and “sit”, is eating regularly now and has this very curious habit of pawing at her water before she drinks it....then patters across the floor! She’s adorable!

Charlie's had her bath, her pads cleaned, belly done, rounded feet and clipped output area. She is a happy, happy pup and beyond excited.
I wasn't sure what blog to put it up on but I am just updating the saffron and main blog these days unless I get updates. They are having a total blast. I am putting up videos but here is the gallery.

We took Corey and Misty outside today and it was raining off and on. Corey is not a fan of rain but Misty says bring it on. Misty was also doing stairs. Corey is not. Corey didn't shake and he did look around but it is obvious he is more comfortable with known surroundings. But interesting enough, we had both with the adults hanging out and Corey was very comfortable with all the dogs.
We need to take him out every day in all sorts of weather and get him used to getting wet. Each dog has their own personality. Corey is a snuggler. Misty is too busy and has no time.
Both are HIGHLY treat motivated and I mean highly to the point I must close my hand in a fist, wait till they calm down then open to allow them to eat.
It's going to be a fun adventure.
