Upstairs Play

They did have 1 session outdoors but play has mostly been indoors.

I am uploading some slo-mo videos as I am typing and they are cute. It's fun to watch them run in slow motion. In 2 days they have the vet visit. No baths till Friday. So far puppy visits are still showing clear weather - hooray. 30% rain on vet visit. Hope he dresses warm.

Here is the gallery.

These pups are so fun. #5 no longer allows you to put him on the back and #1 does. It continues to evolve.

Check out the videos here.

Feels Like

it's a long weekend and it is. :-)

Pups had fun outdoors. They have been out 3 times so far.

Here is the gallery.

They play well with the older pups and adults. They are most times that not trying to treat mom like a feeding station. They are weaned. They are also using the pad more times than not and are sleeping through the night. Actually they are rather good at using the pad. Bravo, little ones.

I will be uploading today's videos.

Changes

Looks like our vet visit is on Wednesday by our vets husband that we used to go to exclusively. I have missed him so it will be good to see Lex. The vet visit was originally Thursday.

As I type Dennis is taking photos. Everyone forgot and I was busy grooming.

What do we have in store this week? Wednesday vet visit. Friday baths and photos. Saturday 8 week visit. Monday (the 14th) last of the 8 week visit. Then we start the 2 weeks till home journey. Now how did that happen so fast?

Pups are great. They are sleeping through the night now - which sometimes does not happen till 8 plus weeks. They are eating solid food. They have had a variety if foods without any bowel issues and they have had dewormings without issues. They will have their last deworming just before home.

They have had to deal with thunder - no issues and rain and cool weather. Snow will be on you.

It happens so fast!

Videos are almost all uploaded. I played catchup. :-) There are some cute ones with Parker and Teddy.

They just came in from playing out on the deck with Dennis.

Hmm A Day

Looks like I am hogging the limelight.

I think photos were taken with my camera (the guys took the photos) and well some are blurry. Easier as my is not on auto but how we learn.

Here is today's gallery.

We just heard from our vet that her mom is in serious health in the states so she is departing asap. It means hopefully her hubby - who is a vet too will come this week. I hope. I miss him. rather like him as a vet too. Hope her mom will be okay.

Pups truly enjoy the cooler weather. I can't believe this week coming is a vet visit and 8 week visits.

These pups will be small - perhaps like their mom. The gal will be smaller than the rest.

Pups are changing and will continue to change. They are trying new things out. Our son went yesterday - oh my no accidents all day - all on the pad. They are starting to learn.

They do start to be vocal come 7am when we get up as if to say do not forget about me. We never do but just in case...

The Little But Mighty

She is still a small one. Hope she gets enough weight on her to get her 1st shots or she will be going home late.

Here is today's gallery.

I have to get the videos up - I know. I promise I will today. I am grooming till late.

Pups manage to get out now 3 times a day and upstairs in the hall once for a total of 4 times. They are now too big - well the rest to fit all in one bag.

Everyone's personalities and waggy tail moments seem to be very similar, at the moment.

Vet visit next week (right after that the son has to get his eyes check due to daily migraines), bath and puppy visit. Next week will be busy.

The Pups With the Older Crew

Here is the gallery.

Nami has calmed down and doesn't play with the pups with such over enthusiasm. Bailey is Ms Gentle. Parker too. Harlow is not sure what they are this week. LOL

The pups are growing up and changing.

Videos coming.

Cheeky Thangs

This boy was the 1st to make it through the doggy door and then the next play session the rest followed suit. Now we have to lock it. LOL

Here is the gallery.

Pups also had a new experience of walking up and down the ramp and playing on 2 decks. They are doing wonderful with it. No fear.

They are starting to get super engaging and then a butterfly in their mind comes into play and off they are flitting around forgetting you are there. It is a riot.

This is Nathan's day off so it's just Dennis and I and the dogs and pups.

Videos coming soon.

Videos are coming!

Clicking Pups

I only took photos first thing in the morning and just enjoyed the pups without clicking. I like to do that every now and then. I so love the puppy snuggles.

Here is the gallery.

Pups are doing well with solid food. Steak or chicken added - no bowel changes.

Morning and Afternoon 6 Week Visit

The pups were great this morning. They are now taking a nap to get ready for the afternoon.

Here is the gallery. Videos coming soon before afternoon visit.

Every one of them was engaging and liked having people here. It was wonderful to watch. I surely find them fluffy. Fun - they are and then at 8 weeks they will get a bit more active. Nathan is trying the chase game with them. First born is so smart - been watching him - he sits where he anticipates Nathan will be and then runs. He is so funny.

Mother nature cooperated and it didn't rain. We are thankful as we had a good afternoon visit.

Here is the gallery.

Pups lasted longer than I expected. They are now sleeping and will be raring to go in a couple of hours where they will play upstairs and expel their energy. We do this to help them sleep the night. As they get older the time they sleep at night gets greater till they sleep till morning.

They are growing up and you will see the changes in a couple of weeks when we do this again.

They will have 3 baths before they depart.

Uploading the videos now.

6 Week Bath Time Raven Crew

What a coat on this guy. He is truly coming into himself in the last 2 days. He was wonderful in the bath and blow drying.

Here are his bath photos.

This is 2nd born. He was also great in the bath and blow drying. Don't you love his cross legs. Okay, photo time.

Here are his bath photos.

Oh 3rd born you handsome guy - such a pretty face - he was great in the bath and blow drying.

Here are his bath photos.

Here is 4th born gal. I had fun with her as you will see in her photos. I pushed the hair up on top of her head just for the hey of it. She continues to be the tiniest but she is a cheeky thing. She was NOT tall enough to stand on her back legs and brace herself on the ledge of the tub.

This is 5th born. He has apricot coming in all through the top of his head. You can see when he is just bathed. Here are his bath photos.

He was great in the bath and on the table he just walked around checking everything out.

The bottom line all 5 had no issues with the bath or the blow drying or even getting strung up to have photos taken. I say strung up as it appears that way but it truly isn't.

Here is the gallery before and after the bath play.

Tomorrow they get to see you and you will love them. Then another visit at the 8 week mark and you will notice a complete change between 6 and 8 weeks. I am already seeing that in some.

It's hard to believe they are just over 6 weeks old. It happens way too fast.

We have had visitors interested in puppies and although they are outside exposed to new people they were only allowed to look. Tomorrow you will get to play and snuggle with them. It's going to be fun!

Sibling Cuddle

They love to snuggle with each other. Due to impending rain, we played upstairs and then what - teh sun came out. LOL

Here is the gallery.

Mr. 1st born just started getting bold and waggy tail playful. Usually someone engages with him and then he plays but now he's saying - hey play with me. He is changing, as they all are. The biggest change is between 6 and 8 weeks. You will see.

Trying to get the blogs done early so I can eat and relax a bit.

Tomorrow baths - oh my!

Videos are coming....

Giving In

I do not think she has much milk but they do try.

Can't blame them for trying.

The pups have their 8 week visit on the 10th. They have baths this Friday. A visit on Saturday unless it pours and then that means it will be moved to Sunday.

Here is the gallery.

Will we get another swim in before they go home? We hope so. Mother Nature has a lot to do with that.

Pups played outside twice today and will be heading up shortly to play in the halls/ They are rather sure footed and are attempting running which looks rather funny.

Videos - will try to get to them tonight!

First 6 Week Visit

Nicolette had her 6 week visit as she owns a winery and it is DOG FRIENDLY and weekends are not doable - so we made an exception. It is a great place to go to eat, pick up some wine and bring your havanese!

How did the pups do - well great. Then she had her fun (not in photos) of Maui, Nami and Stone.

Dennis had them out again and tonight he will have them playing the halls.

You are going to love seeing these pups. Videos coming soon.

Gallery is here.

Firsts Today: Paths and Pool

The pups had a swim today, wet play and path walking. Tomorrow they turn 6 weeks old.

Here is the gallery.

How did they do swimming? Well they put their nose under the water and went oh got to keep my nose over the water. This is norm but some were better than others. This is young but they can swim!

They also walked the path for the first time and loved exploring.

Videos coming after the main blog. Yes, we have them swimming and wet after and path exploring.

Five Weeks 5 Days Old

Well, I finally decided to count in the calendar and the pups are 5 weeks 5 days old today. Wow!

Here is the gallery.

No more blankets outside. we are texturizing them. LOL We are getting them used to all sorts of surfaces. We are going to take them down the paths 2 by 2 tomorrow when it is cooler. Today the paths are too hot for their pads.

They play wonderful with the larger dogs and each other. You will love the experience at the 6 week visit!

Now to upload videos.

Rain and Sun

The pups are coming out 3 times a day now. One of the times today it started to rain and the curtains started blowing. Unlike yesterday when they were not sure what was going on, today they ignored it as you will see in the video.

The pups will have a busy Friday this week. They will have baths and so will Momma Raven just in time for their visit on Saturday. We will take individual bath photos and post them. So exciting!

Here is today's gallery.

Problem Solving

If you look at the gallery, you will see this boy trying to get over and then he finally said the hey with it and went under. They make me laugh. They have such fun brains.

Momma Raven is feeding them less. That means they are eating and drinking more. She has already started the weaning process. She still feeds them before bed and in the morning but mostly all day she lets them eat food.

Can you believe 1 more week till the puppy visit? It means next Friday baths.

Late Night

I went with Nathan to class so he had company with Nami so I am late blogging.

Here is the gallery.

Although this gal is small, she is mighty. She weighs 2lbs 2oz. She takes on all her brothers in play. These pups are wonderful and I can't believe their 6 week visit is next week. That means baths and all sorts of fun!

I will now start uploading videos.

Pups are great upstairs and outside. They are really great!

Growing Up

The pups are quiet all night and get excited to see mom in the morning. They are all eating and drinking well. They finally made the leap. Mom is starting to feed them less.

Here is the gallery that Nathan took today. He also took a few videos that I will upload soon.

Pups are now practicing running. It's so cute.

Dennis said to me after 15 five is nothing. I laughed. It certainly is a one bag experience.
