What a Messy Weekend

Guess what I am doing tomorrow between the grooming of others  - well grooming this entire motley crew.I give up on Misty. I think its shave down time for her. LOL Then it can grow back. We shall see.

The weather was amazing. I did get time to do class outside. Neighbours were all active and enjoying the wether immensely as you could hear in their laughter.

Dogs just enjoyed and when they enjoy, I enjoy.

Ms. daisy is gone and I bet sleeping and resting after all the play. Murphy boy and Murphy gal is here. Harlow gal is here. Life is fun!

Two Updates Today

Today has been a long day as I am in class this entire weekend so I wake up, start class. Do Shlomo on morning break and then get back to it. LOL

My dogs have not been brushed today. I did say would be nice to have some dogs brushed seeing I can't. I think I got ignored. I will play catchup Monday. I will hint more tomorrow with a megaphone.

Off to do the rest of the blogs and clean up.

I am learning but its at a cost.

Warmest Ever

They say we are staying 17-19c straight through Monday. I am going to play catch up tomorrow with galleries. Just can't do. I have a very busy day tomorrow to make up for no grooming and and all day class on Saturday. I did get a cancellation tomorrow till next week so I am not over the top crazy busy.

Ty visits us tomorrow. So does Ellie, Benji and Leo. Daisy is here till Saturday and Abby and Zoey departed today.

Everyone enjoyed the great outdoors except me. LOL I didn't get a single second in it. Good thing good weather is lasting. 

The pups are a heck of a lot of work right now as we - I say me and Dennis are teaching them to go on the pad through repetition. I can't even listen to music during grooming as I have to watch to see if someone gets up so I can run and get them on the pad. Sometimes I am not quick enough. What a crazy process but it does pay off. You only get good things by working your ahem off.

Warmth is Here

Doesn't look like much but it took days of prep, repairing of leaks and voila now it needs to dry. The side of the house was done too. The other 2 walls are fine - no leaks. So 2020 NO MORE REPAIRS. Why can't I have a hubby that knows how to repair? He loves the dogs so that's worth everything!

Warm days Are Coming

We have several days of warmer weather so we get to pile up the leaves and blow them into the garden and/or mulch with the mower. Let's see if we get it done. Each year the dogs run throuygh the piles and bring a ton of leaves inside. They enjoy it. We enjoy it but don;t enjoy pulling leabes out of their hair and off the floor. You only live once so who cares if fun can mean work too. The fun is worth it!

Pablo the play monkey departed. I think Misty has been looking for him. Ollie is here till anytime. Abby and Zoey are here for a couple of days. Tomorrow Nava comes to visit. I have a class at 7pm so the blogs have to be done before that or after 10pm. LOL Class is from 7 to 10pm via Zoom.

Sounds crazy - well it is. It's like that all week. LOl

It was a fun day for the dogs.

Yes and Murphy departed too and nathan brushed her out as I simply had too many dogs to groom. Thank you, Nathan.

Lola is 9 today and we wanted to share some photos with you. She is still the loving little puppy that we brought home years ago and continues to be a key member of the family.  We love her very much.

Funny Games

I want you to know - this is funny. Ellie went under the tv stand. She would wait then pounce out and attack. It was the funniest thing and she was enjoying it - so were the others.

We still have snow. Dogs are not sure why - well I am not sure why. It warms up this week. Our basement walkout wall gets completed - crossing fingers. It must as its seeping water through. What a joke. I guess it lasted 25 years. We were told it wasn't a good job. I think anything that lasts 25 years is a good job.

Dogs are silly and pups are a lot of work, at the moment. But then its dark at 5pm - what the puck - sigh. It makes you want to go to bed earlier.

Short blogging tonight as serious 4 blogs a day is a lot. Not complaining but sometimes I need to shortern them up. Hope you do not mind.

Pablo departs tomorrow. Poor guy may sleep for a week - seriously! Never saw so much play. hahaha

Crazy Weather and Dogs

The dogs really had a fantastic day playing. It rained this morning so they got soaked. I combed them out, the rain finally subsided and then the wind came, then the hail and then some snow that didn't stick. What a crazy day but grooming was FUTILE.

I think the dogs truly find this weather the best. Well not the rain but the wind and well not the hail but the snow. You can't have it completely how you want it.

I had cancellations today due to the weather but we will play catch-up this week.

Now it is tv time and the dogs are cuddled up to warm blankets that I threw in teh dryer. Nothing like a bit of indulgence. They love the warm blankets especially when it is cold outdoors.

How did everyone fare with the time change? Poor Dennis had to stay awake an extra hour. Not fair to him. He said it wasn't so bad.

Happy 6th Birthday

Dear Nathan and Darlah,

Rocco’s 6th birthday is today!  Everyday we love him more and more.  He is the centre of it all and has been such a joy specifically through these uncertain times.

We hope you are doing well, and on this weekend of thanksgiving, wanted to thank you for bringing such a wonderful creature as Rocco, and others like him, into this world.

Cold Almost End of Month

Mr. Tchibo knows a bath means going home.

The dogs had a blast. I am a tad feeling I need to crawl into bed. I am not sick but boy I need down time.

Dogs had full rein of insidem outside, upstairs, downstairs. No one working in our yard till it warms up again - I think Wed or Thursday. I do not know how Pablo's mom is coping with her renovations. If they were inside, I would be losing my mind so I feel for her. At least Pablo is here playing his heart and soul out. When he goes home he will be sleeping for a week. LOL

Before the Rain

This was Tchibo AFTER he was combed out - okay an hour after but still he sure knows how to have a good time and Pablo is it with him today and Misty is royally miffed.

Dogs are playing. They are enjoying and well they were napping too - those that want to with Nathan. they all know nap time but sometimes they say - yes - sometimes they say no. Me - what is a nap?

Today Roxie and Stone found their way under the deck. We have since blocked it. Stone came right out. nathan had to climb under the deck, over the stones and mud to get her. Shall I say, it was not pretty for Nathan. It's a dog's life!

Yesterday gallery Day

We have our leaking wall getting fixed outside in the backyard. A ton of noise goiung on. So, the dogs are playing indoors. Soon, I am told they will be running but there are no clicks today.

I am so tired of repairs - I mean so tired.

It dawned on me these pups here are going home just as Chanukah is ending and Christmas is about to begin. What a great way for thsoe receiving to celebrate with one of these pups as they are truly wonderful beings.

Tchibo is here visiting - Daisy too. they are both wonderful fun.  Harlowe departed. Brewer comes off and on during the week for playdays. Murphy also on off and on.

Pablo is here while his family are doing renos and he thinks the world is his oyster. I must laugh. Those that are here are really meshing well.

No bookings for Christmas so we will be quiet once again. Scary but understandable. Too many business are extra quiet so if you have a fave restaurant - a groomer - a boarder, a delivery person - anyone - smile, tip if you can. If you can't a kind word. Winter will be tough for many and exciting for some - those that have a new puppy - I imagine will have a great distraction. We will all get through this despite the crazy numbers.

I need a magic wand that will put the pandemic behind us and we can go back to picnics, woofstock and all the fun life can bring.

Oh and NO MORE REPAIRS - oh my gad - please!

Happy 3rd Birthday

Pup and Big Dog Play

We had an exciting house today. Ellie, Nami and Ollie played their hearts out.

Lola also dropped in for a day visit along with Brewer. Ms Daisy is playing her heart out daily and now Daisy and Harlow sing for their meals. Pablo gets combed out daily and he was getting combed out. I got distracted and forgot the treat. He started telling me off. LOL It was so funny. I think that boy is treat motivated.

It's a full house tomorrow with lots of grooming. I hope Nathan can multitask with feeding the pups. If I have to - oh boy and I do. Wednesday is my NO GROOMING DAY. I must. It's not a real day off as I still have to do everything else but grooming and timing it between feedings is interesting. In a week and a half food so no more juggling.

These days going to the mailbox on the street is exciting times. I always take a dog with me. It makes it more enjoyable. It is the little things...

Cold Play

They love the cool - me not so much. LOL From shorts to long pants and a jacket in one day. The dogs don't seem to mind at all. If anything, it invigorates them.

Inside, outside they had a blast. I cleaned blankets and put them in the tv room. They all starte rubbing their scent all over it. This blanket is MINE!

What a fun Sunday. Me, I need a nap but time to weigh pups. :-)

Today was a busy day but a good day. I do yearn for down time. Tv time with the dogs like Nathan. hahahaha

Here is today's gallery.

I never knew that noise could rattle humans and dogs alike. The stucco is being done on the side of the house as it has deep cracks in it and our good neighbour is repairing it for us for free as a thank you for taking care of his plants, his grass, yard for years now. He did his own and his goal is to have both sides match and no longer have cracks that will leak in the winter. He is shaving it down and has been all day. Nathan - well he is tool challenged. So, usually it is me or Dennis. But as I type, the noise is unbearable. I find myself agitated, stressed and the dogs were reacting but no longer are. The latter is a bonus.Moms were constantly jumping up and surrounding their pups with each grind. They no longer are.

I sit in the kitchen to drink my coffee and Pablo licks my feet. What is that about. Good thing the feet are clean. He really likes my feet.

The dogs have had run games with me. Maybe I am not as silly as the guys but they seemed to like it. I ran like a crazy person trying to expel my stress. I also did hide the treat and one dog - not saying who ALWAYS found all of them quickly. LOL

It has been a day and it is still going on. Did not know it was happening today. I think the dogs and I will be glad when we are noise free.
