7 Weeks Old

Oh my gad in 3 weeks we will start going home. How did that happen? We are certainly growing up and are getting more agile. We go up and down the ramp now with ease.

First Upstairs

Here's a gallery. Last night we had our first upstairs experience and we embraced it as if wow this is a new fun place to run around and larger too. We have so many rooms to explore. No fussing - just plain fun.

6 Weeks 5 Days Old

This is one of the toys Christine got for us. We love them. We love this string toy immensely too. We are really enjoying the toys these days and seeing value in playing with them. Previous we just played with each other. We are also enjoying stealing moms food. Some of us eat dainty. Some of us put our all into it. heh

Tomorrow the pups are going to head upstairs to play as one of their sessions. They will be able to run from room to room and down the halls. We place xpen around the stair railings as a safety measure.

Hmm This is Good

Some of us can't help ourselves. We think the moms have better food than us - roast beef - YUM!

Let's see what it does to their bowels. I suspect nothing. We shall see.

6 Weeks 3 Days Old

The crew got to play with Tenshi, Amy amd Thyme. At the moment they sniff and semi play but I think both think the others ar martians. It's rather funny.

6 Weeks 2 Days Old

Oh the fun the siblings have. I have fallen down on the updates today but I have an excuse. Pups have been out 3 times today and will be out just before bedtime tonight.

6 Week 1 Day Visit

The pups slept for a solid 2.5 hours after the visit. They had a good time and lasted longer than they usually do at this age. I believe they had a good time. 

By the next visit they will be livelier and more adventurous. There is a huge difference between 6 to 8 weeks and even more between 6 and 9 week. 

Pups will start going home January 13th. So think of what date you want to bring your precious family member home and let Nathan know. 

I will miss this crew in a huge way even though my family room will become a family room again. It's been awhile. 

We have some puppy potential people here anmd they are enjoying the pups seeing you already had your 6 week visit. The pups are having quite a day!

6 Week Bath

In order of birth.... this took me 15 minutes per dog and then I had to do the photos and galleries. It's been a VERY long day! I mean REALLY long.

This is the first born boy. He was golden. He just stood there and looked around and didn't mind any part of it. He was exceptional and so relaxed.

This is the second born - the boy. How was he in the water? He was a riot. I think he thought he found a new found toy that was fluid and had bubbles.

This is the 3rd born - a girl. She was relaxed and tried to lick the bubbles. 

This is the 4th born, a girl. She laid down in the water and played pat-a-cake with it. What crazy fun they had with this water. Not sure what they thought it was.

By the way pigment is still coming in. By the time they go home it wull be fully in. Tails are now up over theit backs most times.

5 Weeks 6 Days Old

The pups are almost 6 weeks old. We had a blast today. They come out to play 3 times a day now. 

Today I left the gate in the xpen open and lo and behold the cream gal climbed out with ease. heh Then the boy followed her. Where there is a will, there is a way.

Now they are eating both softened kibble and the soft food. Little by little I am giving then less wet till they are strictly on the kibble. They are adjusting and their digestion made the leap to kibble easily.

5 Weeks 5 Days Old

The pups are now eating softened kibble at times - sometimes with gusto, other times not. Adele is trying to wean, Jeannie not yet. 

They are using the pad quite a bit these days. They are now coming out 2 to 3 times a day and having a big play session just before bed. They have yet to fuss in the morning till after they hear us go downstairs. 

Jeannie and Adele will have baths tomorrow, the pups on Friday. Saturday is crazy busy (take out may be the key) and Sunday the same due to grooming for others and yes its my day off but not going to get one till sometime in mid January. hahahaha
