6 Day Belly Up
As they get older we are finding them belly up when they sleep here and there. At times even Momma Leti is belly up.
Pups are still gaining. I caught one instead of doing the crawl trying to use his back legs. It's too early little one but I gather you are trying to figure out how to get to your destination faster. Here is the gallery.
They LOVE, LOVE this blanket as it is puffy. I find the baby blankets with some density they seem to truly enjoy. Us too, so I imagine it's just plain comfortable. Momma Leti still tries to cover them.
I think Leti has her groove back. She was taken out to do her duty and she came running in with a happy go lucky , I am here gait. She was indeed thrilled with the snow and thrilled as she was doing the - guess who is queen here. I have to laugh.
Can you believe these boys are almost a week old?
Here are the videos:

Look at that little guy spread out with his belly in the air. It's impossible not to smile. The little black and white looks very peaceful. When do their eyes begin to open?
Diane: Eyes open up anywhere from day 10 to day 21. Each litter is different. The earliest for me has been day 10. Latest has been day 21. I worried about the one at 21 but she was fine. She just had slits for 5 days after her siblings saying I don't think so. The average really is 14 to 18 days. How is that for definitive. Their world changes and they go into overdrive after their eyes open and their ears can hear. Eyes open independent too. That means 1 eye can open and the other not till the next day. They also can't hear but they start hearing around the same time as the eyes open. Eyes and ears opening timing is not an indicator to anything except they can now see and hear. Once they do so, they practice walking. They are curious etc. It is a grand stage of learning. Watch, Leti's guys will open their eyes when Panda has her pups.
My god that belly needs kisses!
Now, how relaxed is that boy, I ask you ;-)
That belly is something else. I just want to rub it and kiss it all over. Beautiful videos. Leti does look very happy and relaxed.
They are delicious,truly!
Thanks Darlah. I will keep watching and learning. It must be so much fun (and a lot of work!) having so many little ones around.
I would say that is a well fed belly !!!
