1 Week Old

One week old and I think it's 2 against one - crusher hug they say? Here's the gallery. As you can see now the black and white has tan under his tail and tan on his face. He is indeed a tri. The brown is  chocolate. He has brown pads. So 2 tris and a chocolate. Now let's see what 1 week has accomplished. They doubled their weight and then some. They are rarely making a sound.

Leti eats well then wants to be hand fed. She's a riot. She adores the babies. I catch her staring adoringly at them. Wait till they open their eyes. Perhaps that will happen in week 2. Life will change and the videos will get more exciting.

Here's the videos.

Oh my gosh, they are lovely. Individually they look big, but then you see them with Leti and you can see how small they really are. Little bunkins they are.

So that means Leti vp carries some kind of chocolate gene? I know you wrote about this before, but couldn't find it.

You have to have chocolate on BOTH sides but that's not enough. You also have to be a carrier. So, yes Leti appears to be a carrier. For instance, our Fiona (Truffie's mom) was a carrier. Fiona's sister and littermate was not a carrier. She never threw chocolates when bred with a chocolate.
