Going on 2 Days Old

Leti does not want to leave her pups much. They are only going on 2 days old. All are gaining and being loved. I even have to comb her out in the whelping box as you will see in one of the videos I am uploading.

Here is the gallery.

She is also eating when we hand feed her. I will ONLY do this with new moms so they eat enough for milk production. I won't do this for dogs that are being picky. You do not want to create a monster when it comes to feeding. Dogs will eat when they are hungry. Pay attention to their feel and their weight. See Weight Matters to gauge if they are too thin or too fat.

See the videos.

The pups are wonderful and I do believe at least 1 is a chocolate. It will all unfold.

Glad to read that on the post. Miss Meadow lately has been making a "game" out of kibble time and trying to get me to feed her at least half of her kibbles one at a time. I'm not having it!!
