This is a terrible photo of her. She's a pretty gal. Think it was just the pose but you can see her tummy. Her tummy has grown dramatically in the last 2 weeks. I just gave her a bath today. This morning her temps was 99.8. I will check it again tonight before bed. 

I do feel pups kicking!! Will be exciting to see her pups! It best not be tomorrow afternoon when Nathan is gone.

Nothing New

No signs of snow or Leti's pups. :-) Her tummy is growing dramatically by the day.

Leti Waits

Well this would be day 7 and the vet thought day 4 to 7. Leti does things her way. let's do the math.

Leti's heat was September 20, 2017 to October 11, 2017. If she was at her peak on day 1 she would have been due September 22nd give or take a few days. If she took on her last day she would be due December 13th. 

Nathan has to go deliver a dog (Paula pup) on Thursday at the 403 and qew. Watch then she will go and decide to have her pups - don't you know it?

Nothing New

Nothing new with Leti. I have yet to take her temps but she is eating like she is starved. When they are about to go into labour they usually stop eating. Leti has never been a big eater but all Nathan has to say is Leti, food and she comes running.

Her tummy seems to be growing by the day quite literally! Will take her weight tonight when we go to bed as the scale is upstairs.

Leti Update

She is staying close to me but nothing is happening. I am so glad as this is a crazy house. Anytime after Monday will do for me. Her tummy is getting bigger by the day. I may start taking temps tonight.

Dogs chewed my over the ear Sony headphones in bed last night. To replace is 250 and these are on sale when I just looked at Best Buy - savings of 150. I saved up a long time for these and use them when I groom. But that isn't happening. Maybe after the holidays. I want to scream as I was stupid to take them to bed but Nathan said the ipad noise was bothering him. Ultimately my fault. Foolish me. 

Now I have 6 dogs to groom as I am trying to do everything before Leti says - guess what - its time. :-) No 7 as some dog peed on Risa. 

I need a better day.

Nothing is going on with Leti. We are slowly getting her area ready. We have moved the recliner out again. The xpen has to be put up. The towels are ready. Still some things to do but a little each day.

When Leti?

This is Leti as a pup. Every now and then she goes back to this colour then lightens up. She has done that throughout her life. It's not apricot but rather tan. Stone and Leti may have some interesting colours. Leti is from is from just outside Prague, Czech Republic. Kostelec nad Černými lesy, is a town in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. We imported her in due to her fabulous background. 

Jon took her to obedience and thinks of her as his dog. lol they have bonded!

Vet said from xrays she thinks 4 to 7 days. 4 if she has milk production, 7 if not. I have yet to check yet as we just are feverishly redoing this room yet again and our company just arrived. So will update after I check. I am not worried that its today. :-) That would be a crazy ride. 

We have started setting up her xpen - a little at a time with company.

No milk production yet. Here's hoping we make it through this long weekend.

Surprise!!

I have a secret and guess what - my humans thought I was pregnant but didn't start cluing in till last week when I was showing signs.

We could clearly count at the vets so I know so now its your guess. Remember Leti is a small gal like Saffron - a tad larger. 

According to her heat dates she would be due from today till December 13th. Most likely that count down won't start for a week as they usually do not peek till day 7plus. That means first likely due date would be the 29th. It best be before then as I have a date with Sherry at the One of a Kind Show. 

Let the guessing begin.
