Today the Leti pups had a play session with the Panda pups. Here's the gallery. They are not ready to be together as the Leti pups are of size but they did rather well and yes the Panda pups played back too. Progress. Maybe in 2 weeks they will actually get together for play sessions on a regular basis. We shall see. You will have to see the video of them together in Panda's blog.

He was great in the bath but all 3 were.
Tri boy - the wet look. By washing him I realized that he is the tiniest of the 3. He will be like his Daddy and Mommy.
His face will lighten up too.

We have a short blog today. Yes, even though its their 6 week day, we have a very busy day. Tomorrow they will have baths and see visitors in the evening. So, it is a good thing they have a slower day today. Here is the gallery.
Pups are full of life and will most certainly seeing our visitors today as well.
This morning they woke us up at 6am. That doesn't mean we went in and got them. We had them wait till 7am. The goal is to get them to 7am. Funny how the 1st nights they were quiet at 6am. This time they tried making noise to see if that got them what they wanted. They all get there eventually before they head home.

Canyou believe we are 6 weeks old tomorrow and on Thursday night our families are going to visit us. Such fun. Are we up for it? Absolutely. Last night we had a blast with Sarah (grand daughter), Danielle (grand daughter and Daisy their friend. They were in puppy heaven. See the video.
Today we also tried softened Fromm's kibble. As you remember they were not keen on it being in a soup mix but seeing that they are getting many teeth, we tried it strictly softened but whole. You will have to watch the video to see how they did.
Pups are getting up at 630am and playing. They do still get up during the night but soon they will stretch that to an all night sleep before they go home.
The pups are truly growing up. Soon we will be taking them outside. A new world lays before them.

Yes, last night we went upstairs and slept without momma.
How did they do? Quite well.
Leti kept checking on them at the door. It was harder on her than them I think but I put the sound on the ipad and the camera on and she actually would wake up to come listen or look at the ipad. It was interesting. This was a first. The way she stared at it I wondered if she was just listening for the sounds or she was watching. They didn't cry. They just cried when thy heard us getting up as if to say, hey don't forget about us. This soon will be a routine and the human here will sleep more and just have the ipad on so each time I wake up I watch. That happens too much as I am so tired during the day but oh well.
They loved the bed and snuggled in for a long night then woke up and played then slept then woke up. Most of their output was on the pad so bravo!
When Leti came downstairs she was THRILLED to see them. She fed them immediately of course. It's an interesting leap they have to take. She was so delighted to be back in bed snuggling with me but also tuned into the idea that she is a mom and her pups count on her. Check out the gallery.

They will eventually sleep through the night. That is why we do this process to get them conditioned.
Dennis washes and sterilizes the pen. When they go upstairs at night, it is easier than taking them all out, washing and waiting for it to dry with a little help of drying with a towel.

Leti pups had fun upstairs on their first visit and the stairs. See the gallery and the video. Yes they tumbled but it didn't stop them from trying again.
As this is a holiday, it's a small update today. Hope you don't mind but this video and our snoozing one will surely make you smile.
They also now have several teeth.
Will we be able to get them upstairs? We are hoping so. It depends on Dennis getting the room ready and how cold it is. We can't close a door with a heater in that room as it gets too hot (got to get a portable that stops heating when it reaches a certain temperature. Of course we have heat in the house but for some reason when we are in a deep freeze, it stays too cold in that room as its over the garage so we are going to test the heat lamp up there today to see how that works. They are old enough to be upstairs without mom now. Plus we always have a camera on them so I can not sleep and watch them. I tend to do that a lot when they are upstairs despite them being in hearing distance. Oh technology....

Dennis had them out in the hallway and took photos. I think by tomorrow night they will be upstairs without mom but we will be able to watch them. Leti will be back with me. Here's the gallery.
This crew is teething like crazy. They already each have teeth poking through and funny they are all the same teeth. Wish we could get them outside but its simply too cold. Maybe if it warms up a bit. We shall see.
