They like to move when you are snipping though Choco just laid there mesmerized by the experience. They are really, really good about the clipping though. Either Nathan is getting better or they just are not minding the experience. See the gallery.

I have no videos tonight. I am just too under the weather and sometimes I just have to say tomorrow so I can be all I can be tomorrow.

The pups are now eating well enough that by weeks end we are going to get them upstairs without mom. 

Poor Leti is as skinny as can be so I am hoping she weans them soon. Maybe 1 more week or 2 at the most. They are eating well enough that it could be now but we let the moms decide. 

5 Weeks Old Wow

Can you believe they reached 5 weeks already? How did that happen? Check out the gallery.

The pups are interesting. Choco can now climb out of the xpen if the door is not closed. I like the door being open but now I have to figure out how to handle the climb out cutie.

Pups really look forward to play sessions out of their xpen. They are kissy darlings.

I am under the weather. We got some 'not good' news about Danielle. It seems her issues are spreading to new areas. I did enjoy the pups. I took a nap and felt worse after and here I am blogging. Sorry that the blogs aren't more informative but check out those tails starting to go up and those striking markings.

Leti is so protective of her pups. She was shadowing Stone to make sure all his interactions were proper. heh. Stone just loved the pups. See the gallery. The pups had their usual hallway play session. We will soon be taking them upstairs to play. Our goal is to get them to be without mom at night soon. How did the time go by? 

See who else the pups played with. Inula howled and wanted to play with them but she is too big and is not aware of her feet enough to play with them yet. But she so wanted to play with them.

We Have Neighbors

The pups are really aware that they suddenly have little ones next to them that they can kiss and bat at through the bars. It's a riot and both litters seem to be interested in each other. How nice. Here is today's gallery.

We tried the pups on softened kibble mixed with Esbilac and they went - I don't think so. So we may feed them mousse till they have teeth and then we will just have the kibble softened added at a later date. They were not impressed.

When the pups see us their entire bodies wriggle with excitement. It's a riot.

Our grand daughter had her first play session with the Leti pups and she so enjoyed it.

See the basket behind her? It's all our shoes that was in the hallway closet that our daughter is trying to fix. It's days later and we are - well she is still trying to fix. So ignore the mess. We will get it fixed - well hopefully. She's having a tough time with parts, I think. We also had rugs and a blanket waiting to go away. Not my usual but they are now away. hahahaha

The pups had a good time with her and it is important that they interact with a variety of people. I will tell you that they are pretty surefooted for their age. 

I also LOVE how Leti has started to play and teach them. It's wonderful.

Leti is Tired

I can relate to Leti. I had a busy day. I cleaned out the xpens and sterilized. I did the laundry. I did grooming. I did baths and cuts. I also took the pups out myself while Nathan napped. Now you know why the blogs are so late and he's asking about watching tv. hahahahaha

Here are the videos. Sorry I am so short but I only have 2 hours before bed. The pups are starting to play with toys. They are also starting to teeth. Pups now have food in their xpen as well as water.

Now that they are walking so well I am exposing the floor in their xpen.

I placed a crate in the xpen to get them used to it. This gives a certain level of comfort as they are exposed early. I am also using a sherpa bag to transport them. They already get excited when they see it.

They ate, they played and they conked out. It tells me they feel secure in the hallway.

You will notice that Choco is VERY fond of Mommy. He is forever snuggling with her whenever he can and trying to engage her in play. You may see Leti kissing him in this video. 

How did they do with the food? Well watch the video. I didn't have Nathan to help out so it was me and well see if they found it and when they found it what they did with it. Also, an important stage is drinking water. They must be drinking water before they can be without mom at night.

When they eat food, cleanup is a constant thing - changing pads and all that fun stuff and sometimes cleaning bottoms.

I am so impressed with these brothers. They seem to be quick.

We love to play out in the hallway. Soon we will be trying them on food. It will be interesting to see how fast they take to it. When they are eating and drinking mom comes back to bed with us at night and the pups are on their own with a camera setup so we can watch them, of course. This will be the start of independence for mom and for the pups. It's a necessary process that they will go through so they can go into their forever homes. They are starting to get older already... Only 6 more weeks with us...wow

They are into who is boss with each other lately. It's interesting to watch. They make all these noises as if to say, no I am boss but so far each say okay, did that and they both give in. It's a great process to their development. It wouldn't be if one persisted and refused to let go and wanted to win at all costs. They are properly testing each other and you can tell they truly love each other.

It's a no gallery day. I have been busy but I promise to do better tomorrow. They are truly delightful. I can't believe they turned 4 weeks this morning. Soon we will be trying out food. Check out the videos:

1 Day Shy of 4 Weeks

Really, I had a bath today and had a chicken strip. Can't you see it all over the blanket and then I scrunched my face just because. I am Leti. I have what that human calls a free will. 

I want you to laugh. After my bath I went in to see my pups and although they can see they sniffed me as if to say who are you? Kids... what can I say.

Today they were out in the hallway for the first time. They are having lots of firsts. See how they did on the tile. Plus check out the gallery.
