2 Days Old

This is a bed created by Brenda who does the shark, fish and houses that the pups adore. This bed is extra comfie and a great one for them to eat in and to snooze in. In this photo it almost looks like they are enveloped by a heart.

The pups are now 2 days old. They are gaining (not losing). Even the littlest is doing well but I will celebrate even more when she is 5 ounces plus. She is an active one so a lack of body weight certainly hasn't stopped her.

Here is today's gallery.

I find myself going from one pen to the next. It's a riot at times. Then I get this short break to blog or laundry or even a shower if I hurry. :-)

They are beautiful and lively. Can't wait till they are all mobile and creating things to clean up - I think.

Girl is the smallest.

So many pups, so little time! I wonder how you keep track of them all :). The videos show just how loving and attentive the moms are with their puppies which is lovely. They also get so much support from their human parents and extended family too. Each litter is so special. Love seeing the pics and watching the videos. It has become a bit of an obsession. I learn so much everyday. Thanks Darlah and Nathan.

Look at this photo to see the girl. She is the darker brownish one, 3rd from the left, 4th from the right. She is the smallest. She is the only girl.

I am really happy to see Sarah with the pups. Except there was something wrong with my iPad i think. The videos moved very quickly. It was nice to see that Roxie trusted Sarah with her pups.

That bed is fantastic for feeding the pups. I had a good laugh watching the Night Stretch video - that little pup was not going to let go of Roxie no matter how she moved. He ended up standing on his hind legs while feeding. The gal definitely looks so much smaller than her bros but you are right, Darlah, her size does not slow her down.
