Yes, they swam and then they were wet on the deck and cuddled right in even though it was HOT. So we placed a bunch of towels and they settled in, played, slept and dried. They are all stars. Here's the gallery.

Tomorrow we are all going to go swimming. It's time that human Nathan gets into the pool and has some fun. He's been ill in one fashion or another this whole time we have had the litter that maybe the puppies in the pool will lighten his perception. Here's hoping. Tomorrow we will see how they swim.
Then on Sunday we have Father's Day and we haven't figured that one out yet but we are trying to make that day special for the human and perhaps play recovery after Saturday. heh
Then on Monday and Tuesday we are off to the vets - yes 2 days in a row and our vet is an hour and 15 minutes away each eay plus the visit so its time consuming.
Even though you don't know which pup is yours, please send us a date on pickup. As we have a large litter, we may let a few go in a day but we shall see. Just give us when you want to pick up as it will help us figure it all out. The sire's owner will be taking her 3 pups on June 28th. They will be the 1st to depart.

I can't believe how long their hair has become. What beauties each and every one of them.
Poor Roxie is still feeding and so is Spice but Jeannie is not. Come Monday it stops. It's time to experience Mommy play time without her running away from the descent of hungry mouths - well at least in their minds.
I rushed and didn't have time to edit the video of their play today. So, you may see the video camera taking video of who knows what but just ignore and fast forward. The video is now here.

How are we doing? We had all of our output on the pads last night. Bravo. After our 8 week visit to the vet we will stop eating at night. That will be a change. This allows us to get them to sleep all night without output. Everything is a process to get them to be ready to go to their forever homes and that includes sleeping through the night.
I have tested all of them with treats. Everyone had kangaroo tendons. No fights. I had sharing but boy did they like them. Tomorrow I see if their output changes from them.
I usually test the pups with treats this way to see if any food guard. Food guarding at this age can be common as they love the treat so much that they want to covet it and simply don't know how to share yet. So when this happens I try it again to see if it changes days apart. At the time that I see food guarding, I take the treat away and say, all done. Each thing that I do is to gain insight and to enable them to build coping skills.
We will try this again in a week to see if anything changes.
They are hopping, running and playing in such a grand fashion these days. It's wonderful!

We are real experts now.what does that means? We run up the ramp and down it. We run and chase and continually perfect our skills. I do believe, despite the work that 18 is a real social bonus for the pups.
Jeannie has finished feeding the pups but Roxie and Spice are still feeding theirs. Soon the rest should be weaned.

We love the ramp, the activity center, the house, the fish and we really love the toys Carmen and Max got us that smell like bacon. We must buy more so please tell us where to acquire them. You see, the adults keep stealing them.

We are now going out of the xpen4 times a day. Then we sleep!

We are getting conditioned to the cold but that wind is even biting to the humans so we are playing indoors at the moment. We did play outdoors 3 times. Now it is our last play session before bed.
We are adjusting to eating Fromm's kibble. When you are hungry, you adjust.
