4 Weeks 3 Days Old Tonight

Differences are important when you have 2 that look similar. With the two tan pups, 1 female, 1 male, it seems obvious. You just look underneath but really it is important to see them from a distance and know without doing this. The girl is a bit darker. His hair is wavy. Hers is straighter. So when they make it out to the yard, I will be able to tell from a distance. There are always differences. Oh and the girl has MANY teeth. :-)

She is more laid back. He's more, a get in the middle of it guy. He's not over the top. He's just likes to play longer but they are 4 weeks and things often change. I tell people when they see them at 6 weeks that you will blink and then watch them at 8 and oh boy they can and do change. The most even balanced friendly ones are the blacks. Now who is over the top? The darker apricot sable boy. He is an in your face kind of a boy.

So take all of this with a grain of salt as in all these years we have learned that it all changes as they perfect their skills.

They all play. They are all getting time getting carried around. We will see who gets teeth next. Time to get some baby soothers we can freeze. Till then frozen rags tied into knots will have to do.

Oh my goodness, I didn't realize their personalities change 'that' much. The sleeping boy is beyond adorable.

They can change quite a bit as they perfect their skills.

You can really see how much two of the pups take after mom re colouring in the picture. Fun watching their personalities developing not that they're interacting so much more. So cute and getting so big. The time goes so quickly.
