3 Days Old Late Tonight

This is what motherhood does to you. You look mighty frazzled despite getting brushed.

Last night Saffron had an upset tummy. I gave her some liquid zantac and she threw it up all over me. So, she fed the pups but did not eat. This morning she refused to eat again so I gave her a tad bit of zantac and she now is eating and her tummy is no longer gurgling. The tummy gets upset after birth (humanas too) but she went from loose stools to solid. I felt bad for her as this is the norm after deliveries but her first litter she had no upset tummies. She also had a very easy delivery her first time. This wasn't bad but it hurt and therefore hurting introduces stress. Stress gives you upset tummies and loose bowels. She now has solid stool.

So she is much better now. She is eating. Pups never missed a beat and ate and ate and she fed them well as they all gained. She is so attentive. They are so strong.

Here is today's gallery. Here is a video with sound

I take Saffron on the couch with me to get her massage and snuggles. She looks forward to it and I do as well. It's my time with her. I love how she lights up when she sees me in the morning.

Glad Saffron is feeling better. The pups are so precious all snuggled up and on top of each other! I love her proud smile in 4005!

Darlah, I am sure that the strong bond that you have with all the moms make them better mothers. The Mom's need love and attention as well as the puppies.

Hopefully the worst is now behind Saffron. Obviously she's a very good and doting mom! And, I think she looks beautiful! She certainly deserves the extra pampering. Special time for both Saffron and you, Darlah!
