Climb Brave Souls

They are so amazing. I watch them climb from one chair to another but today I went to grab one and he went splat. It didn't stop him as he was climbing soon after.

You will see it in one of the videos. I will be uploading them shortly. 

Pups will be going out again shortly. They have been out twice. Soon I will be scrambling. What is new?

They certainly love these chairs and they love the beds from Dearmint.

The pups are running the hall, as I type. So fun for them!

Getting Over It

Good news. The pup that had to be poked twice is no longer sore. She recovered fast.

Videos will be going up soon. 

Pups have managed to have fun. Me not so much. So much to do... Still those pups just have a grand time!

Vet Visit

3lb 4 oz This is the other male. All were deemed healthy.

1st born boy is 2lb 10oz. Our vet really enjoyed him.

This is the gal with the apricot legs. She weighs 2lb 12oz. Her I3 incisors has not come in yet but this happens quite frequently and as our vet noted,  they will and adults will come. She is deemed healthy. Unfortunately - and this is rare, her chip popped out when inserting so our vet had to reinsert. She is sore. I just picked her up to check her microchip number and she cried. This is the 1st time a pup has cried from this crew. Just makes me want to snuggle her. Hoping by tomorrow she is not sore but it can last 48 hours as we have experienced in the past when this has occurred. In 17 years only less than a handful it has happened. Poor thing. She will be fine but as you know its not fun to be sore and her siblings don't necessarily get it. 

This is who I call Splash. She weights 3lb 2oz

Our vet was so impressed with all of their patellas, hearts being nice and strong, bites etc. She also loved their consistency. All males have both testicles descended. She was impressed with the 2 litters.

We do have a couple of people that have not sent in their top 3 and we do need 3 - not 1 or 2. Please do so as soon as possible as we need to assign pups then we have to get tote bags, pertinent info, items purchased to go into the bags, things made - names etc.

Hall and Fun

Here is the small gallery.

We were going to take the pups out today but it was plain too icy. We promise to get them out the next warmish day.

Tomorrow afternoon our vet comes to the house to examine the pups. We have been doing to her and her husband for a very long time. They used to have a practice in Colborne 35 plus years as vets big animals to small but they sold it to an American company. Vets changed and well now they are retired and see who they want to. On top of this convenience, they charge us gas and that fluctuates depending on the cost of fuel. I bet you that is a lot more than last time.

I will take photos. We will find out how much the pups weigh. They will get their microchip and shots and full physical. Other than the microchip, it usually is not too stress-filled for the pups. They are rarely sore. It is a bonus that it is done in their home - well their home for now. 

Then pups are assigned. I will need pertinent info. Nathan will send. I go absolutely crazy getting things ready and you get to count down till they come to you. We will miss them but it brings us smiles genuinely to see your happiness. So it begins... To be honest - these are such great pups - missed they will be.

Play Play Play

Check out the videos coming shortly. I hope yeterdays made it. I have been frustrated with them uploading. They sit and sit waiting to be processed.

We are hoping to get pups outdoors before they go home. As soon as we do, we will be capturing it.

Pups are in for a long nap after a long play session. Remember the more you play, the longer they sleep. There is a connection.

Vet visit is Wednesday where they will get a full checkup, microchip and shots. These last 2 weeks will go fast even though you do not think it will. Tomorrow I will post things you should have on hand.

8 Week Visit Saturday Afternoon

We had another visit this afternoon and tomorrow evening we have another.

I hope everyone had a good time. The pups have and they were up in time for this visit. Maybe they are living on excitement as they usually sleep a long time after a visit and it throws off their evening sleep. So, maybe this is a good thing.

They ran. They played and hopefully I captured.

Thank you to this family for the Tim Hortons muffins and ice cap. Yum!

I can't believe in 2 weeks they will be departing. Vet visit on Wednesday.

8 Week Bath

This is Tempie's smallest. He is 1st born boy. He may be small but I swear he is the mightiest. He always seems to win. It's a riot!

As you can see this one is starting to lighten up on his face. He will continue to change. This was the absolute star of the blow dry. We even took a video of him drying. He was great with all of it. As a matter of fact all 4 were great about the bath. He was still the best!

This is the 1st gal that was born. She is quite the character. She even let me shave her pads, snip around her eyes and never blinked an eye.

This is the last one. I call her Splash. She was great and she makes me laugh loudly at times. What can I say? They are all great. They will continue to change.

We have 8 week visits tomorrow and Sunday. We also have a vet visit on Wednesday. We ask for 3 picks after your visit. We ask you to tell you a bit about your lifestyle i.e. I like to hike, I like tv and I want a couch buddy etc. This is important. Certainly if you like sitting on the couch, it is different than the dog who would appreciate long walks. Our goal is the right fit for you.

You will enjoy the pups this weekend. Take photos. Take video or just play as we will be taking videos and photographs. The pups are absolutely wonderful. They will make you smile. Watch and see what I see.

I will miss them beyond... and I say that sincerely!

Oh the Play of It

Tempie will miss the pups. She just adores them through and through. I so hope they come to visit.

The pups were a riot today and as I type Dennis has them upstairs again. 

You will notice the most dramatic change in these pups. They are forever evolving and are wonderful snugglers. They are all quite agile in both litters! 

2 to 3 Days

Here is the gallery.

The pups are changing and you will see with their baths in 2 days and their visit in 3 days. They have not only grown in size but their colours re starting to really come through. 

The littlest boy seems to win in every play session except the one that appears black but has colour bleeding through - more each day. They are different in sizes but they are equal in play. It is quite interesting. Splash remains the largest or maybe not. We will have to weigh them before you come. The other gal uses her mind. She had a ball that she wanted under a toy. She batted her paw under to try to get it. She came at it from all sides and then decided to push the toy on top to get at it. She found a solution and appeared mighty proud of herself. They are really something else. What a huge change... and they will continue to change. They are so fun!
