11 Days Old

Willow Pups seem to be agile so far. They roll this way or that way. Sometimes they get stuck as you will see on one video then play recovery.

Here is the gallery.

Did you know that puppies ears are pointed up at birth. As time goes on, the ears start to flap down. Some of them have already started to doing this.

Each day I take each puppy and snuggle with him or her. It is important to condition them to touch and what that means. If you give them enjoyment early on from touch, they will remember this is an experience they enjoy. There is a method to my madness. :-)

10 days Old

We have some back sleepers. If you watch real close to the videos, you can figure out who they are.

Here is the gallery.

Willow likes the cool of the floor but all the pups have to do is squeak and she's looking to see if they need anything.

Be sure to watch the videos.

9 Days Old Plus Individuals

First Born Girl

2nd Born Boy

Third Born Boy

4th Born Boy

Fifth Born Boy

So far the pups are a variety of Willow's colours. They are doing well. Eating well with mom's abundance of milk which she gleefully shares the odd time with Leti's pups.

We did nails and individual shots in a video. Plus throughout the day, I will be adding more.

The pups eyes and ears open at the same time. They say it can be days apart from each opening but when a pups eyes open, I find that they will jump with a loud sound telling us that the pups can see and hear at approximately the same time.

Their activity level increases quite a bit after they can see. You will see them attempting walking to a greater degree then. The earliest they can open is at 10 days till 3 weeks. Yes, we had a straggler that decided it was okay to just use ones nose till 3 weeks and then voila a whole new world began.

Here is the gallery.

8 Days Old

As Willow is a first time mom, you do not know what to expect. She is a great mom. I come down each morning and she is silly happy to see me. She has Dennis all night. The moms have 1 of us till about 4 plus weeks when they go upstairs together with a camera across from our bedroom. This is the start of independence.

Willow wants to show off her pups always and has no issue feeding any puppy that is in need.Leti sits next to her when they are feeding and she kisses them. Moms that have pups together truly have an unbreakable bond. It's wonderful!

Here are the videos. I do have an upclose one of the pups.

Pups are doing well. They are round and eating well.

Here is the gallery.

How did this happened. They are the same age as Stormys. It was supposed to be Willow and leti that had pups together.

As you can see the pups, they have an appetite.

Check out the gallery.

In a few days we will do nails and individual photos.

6 Days Old

Be sure to watch the videos.

Can't believe they will soon be a full week old. Unless I was cataloging it, how would one know. LOL

Here is the gallery.

I have so much to do in a day at this stage that things I want to do for fun is not doable.

The pups keep me busy and so does the laundry and grooming the adults.

But it is magical seeing them day by day!

Looks like a couple may look like mom in colour. Pups are doing really well.

Here is the gallery.

At this point they eat, the sleep and start in again.

The pups are still fascinating to watch as they attempt to get here and there.

Check out the videos.

Willow 4 Days Old

Pups give mom a lot of time between feedings. For a 1st time mom, she has it easy. :-)

Here is the gallery.

Willow is attentive as ever but has now found she can sun outside for 5 minutes or so and she loves the finer things in life. She suns and then runs back to the puppies.

Videos are always found here.

Willow Pups 3 Days Old

Here is today's gallery.

Pups are doing really well and Willow has it easy as her pups are of size and they sleep between feedings. This gives her a chance to lay on a cool floor and have a break.

She is highly curious and wants to take over everyone else's pups. Both moms have finally said no. LOL

As you can see weight gains are quite nice. Willow is attentive and loving. She is quite the natural. I have such great moms and from what I hear from others, not all are. I feel blessed that ours are or they would not be pregnant again. Just like humans, there are some that motherhood is not to their liking. But we watch our moms to be to see how they interact with pups way before they are bred.

As the days go by, we have a family of browns. LOL Will be interesting to see if any look just like her.

Gallery is here and gets added to throughout the day.
